Received a letter from Ta this morning , telling us that the our departure airport has now been changed from Bristol to Birmingham, i am not happy about this . Asked TA if Libra would cover cost of travelling expenses and no they wont . As we dont drive the extra cost will be travel back and from airport also a overnight stay in birmingham because of timimgs . I am going in to TA tomorrow to see what they can offer as this is not the holiday i booked , if i had wanted to fly from Birmingham then i would have done that from the beginning .

I suggest that you read the T&C's from the brochure you booked from to establish the next course of action.
You are most probablt legally able to cancel the holiday with all monies paid refunded and depending on how far the holiday is ahead a fixed sum of compensation.
That is what they have to legally compensate you with. Anything above that will be a gesture of goodwill.

Hi Lynne,
I'm sure there will be something in Libra's T & C's about flight schedules being for guidance and subject to change due to the brochures being printed so far in advance.
I can't get onto their website to check the T & C's but the company I work considers a change of UK departure airport as a 'significant change' and as such, we would give you three options:
1. Accept the change.
2. Make alternative arrangements with us subject to availability.
3. Cancel and receive a refund all costs .
I think most TO's work on pretty much the same T & C's so you should be able to get your money back and rebook with another company.
