They returned on 22nd Jan (G-OMYT, G-OJMB and OY-VKG I should imagine). G-MLJL & G-MDBD are operating for MYT Denmark at the moment. G-OJMC & G-TCXA are operating the TCX schedule.

Hi Dazbo

Been reading this forum with great interest - your knowledge is fab! I'm a reflexologist so if you ever need to know anything about feet perhaps I can reciprocate!!
Hope this hasnt been asked before - I'm flying on MYT43 to Kerala on 29 Feb - do you know which aircraft type it will be?

MYT043 is currently opperated by a Boeing 767-31K. If I have a problem with my feet, I'll know who to contact :tup

just read on anoother site that the legroom in Thomas Cook Premier is less than MY travel. anyone know if this is correct

We are travelling from Manchester to Goa on Monday18th Feb on MYT41. Do you know if.
1. there are seat back tvs or are they only in Premium?
2. is it direct or do we stop in Bahrain?

MYT041/2 are currently opperated by Boeing 767-31K/ER's. These have DigE players which can be used either by hand or hung on the seat infront (in effect seat back IFE) in Premier Gold only. The economy cabin has screens located above the isles. The flight should be direct but may require a fuel stop in Bahrain on the inbound if there are strong winds.

All the ex-MYT ships should be by the end of this month when MYT is confined to the history books. I always thought it was a nice livery with a splash colour.

I guess we'll just have to get our orange fix from Easyjet at Manchester now!! It's not that TCX's livery isn't nice, it's just boring compared to MYT's.

I was traveling on My Travel Airlines to Cancun from Manchester on 3rd of May I even have a MY Travel Airline flight number. But after phoning Thomas Cook Airlines (My Travel Airlines never answered but just rang out) they confirmed that I would be traveling with Thomas Cook Airlines.

Yes by May 1st everything MyTravel Airways will have gone.

Most of the aircraft are currently in Thomas Cook paint scheme anyway.

You'll probaly find your MYT flight number will become TCX, specifically TCX036K/L. My Travel flights will operate under Thomas Cook Group air operators certificate from 1st March I beleive so My Travel as an airline will cease at the end of this month. The end of the Kestrel call sign is neigh, it's much better then Topjet!!

I agree Kestrel call sign sounds alot better than Topjet!!!! You wouldn't happen to know what type of aircraft i would be traveling on? Or is it to early to tell.

Apparently Thomas Cook are changing their callsign to KESTREL in April anyway.

You should be travelling on a A330 in May, possibly with increased legroom.

Thanks for the update I am glad that it's an A330 as they have IFE in every sit instead of above the aisle. I have traveled with First Choice before now and love their pause TV and watch what you want when you want. I believe that My Travel aircraft are older and do not have this functionality?

Boy am I being picky or what ......lol

Roll on May I just can't wait.
