Not sure about the site Mandy has price from, but overnight the VTG price is up $200 and the NCL site is up by at least $300.

Best Price Cruises have also put their prices up. Last night the price that travel mandy posted was available, looking now it is $2084 - quite a jump.

Hope someone was lucky at the original price.

Would have gone for this one personally but for the fact we sail on Jade for 14 nights on 30 May. Got a fantastic deal on it, similar to yours, last October and I think am correct in saying Bobstheboy got same deal too.

NCL are offering two 3 day weekend offers in June,July starting at £99 per person thats from Southampton. Latitude members must book today then they go on general sale.

For anyone looking for a real premium cruise at a bargain price TA's are offering some of the May/June QM2 and Queen Victoria cruises between £900 and £1050 for 12 or 14 nights. Some are into Med, and others the Baltic including 2 days in St Petersburg.

The best one is a 12 night QM2 from Southampton into Med and back for £899 around middle of June.

Checked out for the single occupancy for the Qm2 and Cruise kings quoted £2028 OH how we single travellers are penalised. 2 can travel for £1800 crazy and the TA said it is shocking. I did find a price of £1549 from Sovereign Cruises but the flight to S/H would add a further £98 and then if I fly down before it is another £60-70 so think I will just sit tight.

See that the NCL Jewel was on Teletext for £499 12 nights last night.

Prindy, will certainly advise any good pricing I come across but, the problem with July (and August) is peak holiday time with schools out! The QM2 only has a couple of Meditteranean cruises each summer, with all other dates (including July) devoted to the 6 night transatlantic crossing.

The other option is the new Queen Victoria, which has a 12 night cruise to Norway followed by a 14 night cruise into the Baltic, including St Petersburg. They are currently approximately £1350 and £1950 respectively for inside cabin....not a good deal, and that is why the May/June cruises at lower prices are such good value.

If you can give me a clearer idea of dates and preferences, any family going etc.etc. then I will let you know of anything else.

For ourselves we have cruised with Island, Thomson, Cunard QM2 (twice), Holland America, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. We are sailing with NCL for first time exactly one month from today on the Jade, along with yourselves and your 2 friends, from memory, and on the new P&O Ventura in October. We have enjoyed every one for different reasons and would not hesitate to use each again, probably apart from Island and Thomson.

Sorry if I have bored you with all this in previous posts over the months but stating it simply to point out there is huge variety available.

Maybe we will get an opportunity to meet on the Jade.

I think that you may well be able to get a T/A on the QM2 in July. Look at the Sovereign Cruises web site as they have a lot of offers on the Cunard ships. I would keep looking as at the moment there are good offers for June 2nd. The later offers will come nearer the time. They have a comprehensive list on their offers page.
Still debating whether I will go on the 14th June in the Med. Doing the sums at the moment and wondering what my daughter would have to say if I decide to go for it. Love that Ship
