Hi larson82uk we fly from manchester, and i cant wait its getting ssssoooooo close are your twins boys or girls??
i hope there better this time around, we took them to Bulgaria last year and it was a bit of a nightmare but then they were only 10months old so it was harder....
the alithion looks like it has fantastic facilitates for children though so im hoping it should be better this year
we are booked to go on the 3rd of September and can wait !!!!!! But i have a question im hoping someone can help with.
Last year we went to the first choice holiday village in turkey, it was fantastic and comes highly recommended !!!!! but while we were there the kids entertainment was crows feet island and was about a big purple monster called Goulash. My 3 year old daughter fell in love with him and still hasn't stopped talking about him !!!!!!! as this is also a first choice holiday village we are hoping the kids entertainment will be the same( if not we will have 2 very upset children !!!!!!) Can anyone tell me if Goulash is going to be there, he will be greatly missed if not LOL !! thank you
We went to HV Viva in Majorca last year and my neighbours went to HV Turkey and in both places it was Crowsfeet Island with Goulash. I should imagine this is the theme at all the Holiday Village.
EllsBells partner here,
hahahahahahahahha @ ellsbells husband that made me laugh
As long as he (Goulash) keeps my kids happy I'll put up with him. hahaha
I can't help you with Goulash though - sorry!
Mr EllsBells aka Malcolm - you cannot commit murder in Pafos - out of the question

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Tell him to lay off the acid.
Ok i'll let Goulash off as long as they have some different songs, I've been listening to that bleedin' CD everyday since we came home from the HV Viva. Sadly, I'm the only one in our house who can sing 'the court of king caractacus' all the way through.
Malcolm
Hmmmmmmmmm acid as in far toooooooooooooo many Jack Daniels and Coke
We fly in on 13th August, can't wait. We have been to HV elsewhere before, is the food as good here as some of the other HV.
Has anyone booked this hotel for next summer. Looking at the prices on the website I cant believe how much dearer 2009 prices are compared to what we have paid this year. And the prices are going up, I priced up early last week then again this week, now £50 dearer for exactly same.
Hi Scoobydoo, we have booked for Oct 2009 and paid £2339 for family of 4, which I thought was not too bad. However we did price it for July and they wanted almost £3500 for the same thing. Don't know where they get there prices from
Wonder if anyone can help me with this question we booked a delux studio which was more expensive than the superior rooms and were told by first choice rep it was in the new fishing village area I read a previous post that says the hotel says the only difference with Delux & Superior Studios is that Delux are in the new fishing village area. So I contacted the hotel and heres what they emailed me back saying "Delux Studios are situated both by the existing and the new Fishing Village". So it appears from what Christos has emailed me is that you can be located in either or. Still really looking forward to holiday, think we would have preferred the new fishing village but wondering actually if there really is that much of a difference? Has anyone stayed in the older part and what they thought about it? Thanks guys
As for the deluxe room thing we have had the same problem booked and paid a large supplement to be in the new part where we were told was the only place with deluxe rooms, we then received a letter from first choice saying the had now converted some rooms in the old part to deluxe and it was on a first come first served basis if you get the old or the new. we were really quite upset about it and phoned first choice to complain we were told we could have a refund of the supplement but then would be put in the old part or we could leave it how it is and take our chance!!!!! there is a few other bits and peaces that have changed from when we booked that im am also not to happy about. But once you have paid your money the don't really do much to help!!!!!! Last year when we went to holiday village turkey they changed our return flight time, meaning we left at about 2 in the morning with 2 young kids it was a total nightmare!! However i still cant wait and if it as anything like the one in turkey then im sure it will bet fantastic !!!!!!!!!
If I didn't post the picture of the Aliathon Holiday Village map on page 21 - hang fire and I'll download it on photobucket and post on here - you'll have a better idea of what I mean.
