Hi there Baldman- We didn't stay in the kids suite so I couldn't comment on their location, I'd guess that they are scattered around the Fishing Village and not just located in one specific part of it. My reason for thinking this is because the duplex split level apartments were dotted around and about, however I could be wrong. I have heard that the kids dens are lovely and there's plenty of space in them. There is definately air conditioning in both the rooms.
The plugs are 3 point ones, well they were in the older part of the complex so I'd guess that that's defo the case in the newer part, I did have a couple of adapters with me but didn't need them.
HappyHammer- There is plenty to keep you occupied during the day, I saw the high ropes, water polo, something with canoes, quizzes, the head to head showdown at lunchtime is fun, archery etc.....always something going on if that's what you like!!!
Does anyone know the price for a family ticket in to the water park in Paphos - its shows 86 euros for 2 adults 2 kids on the web site but says there are special offers for family but doesnt list the price. Also, apart from boat trips can anyone recommend any day trips/excursions from the Aliathon? Thanks
Cheers hankpotter, Also how long was the transfer from the airport, was there alot of stop offs before the aliathon?
New review on trip advisor with some photos - one is of the one bedroom apartment in fishing village (just for you stumpy)
Transfer was 25 mins or so, only stop for us was the Aliathon on the way there, a couple of stops en route on the return journey..
The kids joined the kids clubs and that was the last I seen of them for 2 weeks!
We went all inclusive and the food was great. They do like you cover up a bit for breakfast & lunch - just a pair of shorts over your bikini is fine, and my husband and son wore 3/4 pants and t-shirts for the evening meal but the girls wore shorts and nobody seemed to mind.
The entertainment at night was fantastic and the team worked really hard especially Kieron (this man has the shortest legs in the world) we ended up winning a bottle of wine 480 euros and a few appearances on stage and its hot up there!! If you only go once make sure its to Rock the room.
Loads of entertainment in the day archery, football, quizzies, golf, raft racing, water walking, canoeing for adults and kids.
First choice offer swimming lessons and we took our 6 year old frightened non swimmer. 2 weeks later she swims like a fish and is the proud owner of a 100mtr badge, the swim instructors were unbelievable and I thought it was worth every penny. If you want a late check out do as we did and book it before you go there we no rooms left on our last day as they were all pre-booked.
Only complaint - I'm back home . Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did and don't forget for factor 50. Its that hot!!.
PS:In all the years of going abroad I have never been bit of a mozzie until now I was eaten alive
We would appreciate it if you could copy and paste your review into our Hotel Reviews site at the top of the page.
Thanks.
luci
all the kid's suites are on the ground floor - never mind. Also, I tried to pre-book a late checkout both with first choice and direct through the hotel but no joy, they say they just can't do it in peak season and we'll have to try when we get there. Shame really as first choice changed our flights from decent early evening ones to 11.50pm at night.
I've been emailing the Aliathon asking for our room to be located on a higher floor as we don't like it on the ground floor. They emailed back to say that
How odd is that DebAnt, we normally get bitten to death by mozzies (did at the HV Turkey) and we never got one bite between us at the Aliathon.
Hi everyone for all those staying in a one bed deluxe, don't you think the rooms are a bit on the small side.
Just got back last night. The restrictions on the all inclusive has now been lifted and you are allowed to go for lunch after checking out at noon. It was a lovely surprise yesterday.
Cheers Hankpotter, the one thing i hate is long transfers but 25 mins is fine.
Oh thats not good having your flights changed to such a late one then not even being offered the chance of a late check-out Casper. Also we asked for a middle to top apartment aswell so it looks like we'll have to settle for ground floor aswell! I hope we get a good location one - would love to be near the pool and the clubs for the kids!!!!!
ha ha 1443 about bloody time methinks....... i agree ells look very small compared to the "artists impressions" that id seen before 30 more sleeps woooohooooooo

Hi can someone give me the e-mail for the hotel as id like to request high floor as well the reviews sound very promising thank goodness
Also, I have an aspiring singer/dancer/actress of a daughter and she wondererd if Stagecoach was up & running, the cost and if it is any good ?
Cheers !
info@aliathonvillage.com there you go gina christos is very helpful
With regard to the question regarding Stagecoach. My daughter has done this a couple of times now - HV Turkey and HV Majorca and to be honest it was not worth the money we paid (can't remember the cost but it was quite expensive). All they did was learnt a couple of songs as a group and sang them to the parents at the end of the week. No acting or dancing.
Please don't let me put you off as everybody has their own opinion but I would wait till you get there and see what they are doing before you sign your daughter up.
