Can anybody please clear up a question I have been debating about PortAventura. I have just been told if you buy a 7 or 14 day pass you must use for every day on the ticket and if you miss a day your ticket is then invalid. As it say's on ticket that they must be used for the 7 or 14 days consecutive. I thought that meant you could use them any day in the 7 day or 14 day's of first using the ticket.
The reason for asking is just spoke to a travel agent and they had a customer complaining that they had a 7 day pass and because they missed one day their tickets were then invalid and couldn't get in. Think they went for 2 days gave it a break for a day went back on the fourth day and couldn't get in.
Can anybody who has just come back from Salou PLEASE clear this up for me before I buy my tickets.
Thank You
Chazer.
You don't have to go every day just because you have 14 day tickets. You can miss days out if you want to.
Yes I checked with a guy at work who's just back. The ticket is validated for 7 or 14 days from the first time you use it, but you do not have to go every day, you can miss days out.
Thanks for the replies. That's just what I thought, we were their about 4 years ago and that's what it was then also. The reason for asking is that I was told by a travel agent that a person had been refused at gate after missing a day on a 7 day ticket. Think she must have got a 3 day ticket and not a 7 day and got ripped of by someone.
Thanks Again.
Roll on next Sunday.
Yes you can definately miss days out. The place is great but 14 days on the trot would do your head in.
hi we missed days out and had a 14 day pass even managed to lend them to people we got friends with in the hotel and they gave us a few euros for the kids(nice of them).
Because of having an 11 and a 10 year by the time it comes round we need to go somewhere that will keep them occupied for at least a few days . If its Spain then we have been looking at staying in the Portaventura resort in Salou.
Can anyone tell us if we stayed in any of the resort hotels ie Caribe...Port Aventura Hotel.....Hotel El Paso....would we get free entry into the theme parks.
CHW
I've sayed in the El Paso twice and both times we had free access to the theme park for the duration of our holiday, (7 days each time) and one days free access to the water park as well. Its included in the cost of what you pay for your hotel. Both times I travelled with Eclipse, who are now known as First Choice.
Can people tell me if there will be plenty of childrens rides my boys can go on? I know there will be more for my eldest but I wanted to clarify that its worth buying tickets.
There isn't a massive amount for smaller kids, but I think under 4's get in free anyway. I suppose it depends on how keen you are to go on the rides.
HB
There is a young childrens area down by China town just along side the teacups that has little rides for the wee ones.. There are also several rides suitable for the little ones in Polynesia. We found plenty to entertain our little girl the first time we took her to Port Aventura and she was 4.
i'm going to La Pineda in August for 14 days. Have been told to buy my theme park tickets before we go. Thomson's want to charge us £75 for 7 day ticket even though brochure quotes £64.00. Have found a website called 365tickets.com selling these tickets really cheaply. Has anyone used this website or can someone recommend where we buy our tickets from.
thanks
Merged into the PA thread information on tickets can be found by eading back
as far as i can see, 365.com tickets aren't up for sale ,not in october anyway. what thread can i find the portaventura tickets on?
Web site is advertising 7 day tickets for £58.26 today (it seems to vary with exchange rate).
They are valid for 7 consecutive days from the day you first use, but you don't have to go every day.
The 4 day ticket is only £2 cheaper, so you might as well get the longer one. It's also only £5 more for 14 days.
It will be very busy in August!
