In winter there are aproximately 27.000 habitants in Salou so... there are several things open

you have to be carefull in which area you choose in winter... so try to avoid cap salou Area (for example)
went to salou 3 or 4 years ago over xmas and there was nothing open exept 1 irish bar and that was only open a few days and 1 indian resturant it was also realy cold like being back in the uk had to go to taragona to get anything open there are a good few hotels open but no shops and you hardly seen another person think they all stayed in there hotels to cold to venture out went to portaventura and stayed in there hotel for 2 days but the weathere was so bad they shut the dragon can and another few rides whould go to another resort over xmas been to other parts over xmas costa del sol ect most things are open
