I have been to the sahara beach 4 times this year and enjoyed it more and more each time. Everything is fantastic. A lot of people give negative reviews of this hotel but ignore them.It is a 3 star hotel so as long you dont expect 5 star you will be fine . If you have kids they will love the kids club ... Sem and Zico who run it are fantastic with the kids,. the swimming pools are second to none . I think the all inclusive system works well and never had to queue for very long even at peak season. There is not much to do out side the hotel but there is a mexican restaurant at the go carting place just down the road and that is lovely. The food in the hotel does get a little boring but i never get tired of somebody else doing the cooking for me. If all else fails there is pizza,omletts,and pankackes cooked freshly on the spot .... and there is always chips and pasta. If you have any questions on sahara beach you can pm me.

Is there water sports on the beach ? Ive heard a lot about jellyfish as well which worries me!

there are loads of water sports on the beach ... The entertainment finishes about 11pm and then there is a disco till 2am but i dont know anything about it because we had young kids with us and never went to it .

Me and my best friend are off to tunisia next june, staying at the riu ckubhotel bellevue, i went a few years ago stayed at sahara beach but got sunstroke and it ruined the holiday, beautiful place tho. watch the beggers one asked me if id swap my nan for a camel lol

Sem who runs the kids club in sahara beach is coming to Dublin on the 18th of october to spend a holiday with us . She is staying for a month or so . My kids cant wait to see her .

Aww how lovely !! I was on a website ( cant type name as it comes up as stars ? )before and it shown some videos of the animation team playing around in the pools with the kids, they look so much fun.
I wish I was on my holiday now !! I hate this cold weather.

Just got back from the Sahara beach (Wed 28th Jan)
Weather was great people were fantastic, only 150 people were there so we pretty much had it to ourselves.
Food was ok, locals were friendly and the Animation Team at the hotel were fantastic, rico,sem and lala (manel) in particular were so much fun and Drogba was great with the kids.
You'll have a great time.

We are going back on the 14th feb for 2 weeks and cant wait !!! We love the hotel and the tunisian people are really nice . You are right about the animation team they are a great bunch of people . Sem spent a month with us in Ireland last november and hopefully will return this year for another holiday . Really looking forwaard to our holiday it cant come quick enough !

It was my first visit (other family members had been before) but certainly will not be my last.

Really is a small world ................. we got to know sem on our last visit and she told us about you and we saw some of the photos of her visit to ireland.

Just back from 2 wonderful weeks at the sahara beach ..Once again the staff were fantastic they really go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay.We stayed in an apartment in port el kantoui for 4 nights during our stay with Sem and her family and really had a lovely time . The weather was not great but with the indoor pool and the kids club we found there was still plenty to keep the younger ones amused. This was our 5th time at the sahara beach and we will return as soon as we can .
