Going from Manchester terminal 1 to goa in on February 16th for 15 days. Can anyone recommend any good parking for the airport I didnt really want to park at the airport because it seems very expensive. I have looked at alot of these off site parking which dont seem bad in price. Just wondered if anyone has used any these.

Can anyone recommned any good pubs near Manchester Airport? We're looking for somewhere to eat after coming back from La Palma - we'll be heading in the direction of the southbound M6.

Hi, we are flying out of Manchester next Sunday, and i have heard each passenger over the age of 16 has to pay £10. When does this come into force? Also, i have heard there is free parking for up to 15 days at Manchester. Is this correct?

The £10 surcharge may be a airline specific charge , which carrier is it?
As for free 15 days parking - I think we have more chance of getting a Gold Pig than MAG giving away £50 worth of parking.

Think you`ll find that this refers to Blackpool Airport not Manchester......
No, i am absolutely sure i meant Manchester. I also have heard about the free parking in Balckpool, but i did also hear something about Manchester charging passengers 10pounds.

Blackpool Airport introduced an Air Passenger Fee (ADF) on 5th January 2009. The article in the Lancashire Telegraph was in relation to that (I read it!). Manchester doesn't, and has no plans to introduce an ADF (they don't need it one). All the details are on the Blackpool Airport thread.

Sorry!!! You should have known it would be too good to be true to get free parking at MAN! It's an interesting one with Blackpool; I've no idea where they're going to put all the cars if everyone starts driving to the airport rather than getting a taxi / public transport. There simply isn't the room!

Has anyone stayed at the Radisson SAS Manchester Airport Hotel?
My question is getting from the hotel to Terminal 2 are there any luggage trolleys available to put your cases on or do you have to pull your heavy cases yourselves along the walkways to get to the terminal check-in desks.

The Radisson is only a few minutes walk to T2. The hotel has direct access to the terminal link walkway. There aren't any trolleys up there, unless you go get one from the terminal. There are moving walkways, but they aren't always in operation.
