Hi Cajd,
We are also off to HV on the 22nd. We are flying from Luton. We are going for two weeks (can't wait!) . We had already booked the swim up room ( I must say, we paid a fortune) we also have friends/family coming xmas and their hol was about 1000 cheaper then ours. I was unaware yopu could upgrade when you got there. So maybe I should have came on here earlier
Sharon
We were at the HV in September and had an amazing holiday and have just booked up for May next year.
This time we are going with friends and as we both have children we have booked interconnecting rooms.
Does anyone know where they are located? In sept we were in a swim up room, which we have been unable to book this time:( The swim up rooms were interconnecting and was wondering if it was the rooms above these that were the plain interconnecting rooms?
We will have two buggies and dont want to be allocated in the large blocks?
Thanks:)
I think the swim up rooms are a waste of money during winter months as the pools are absolutely freezing!
However, I wanted to book safe, as last year 'Coral Sea Resort' . Highly recommend!
I got out voted, So we are off up the road. I feel a very close call on 'best of the best' coming on
Well after all the reviews i read over the last few months and nearly canceled our Holiday

this is what made the holiday a little stressful people bitching and moaning the water is cold the weather is hot there is no coaster for my coffee
your on holiday for Pete sake chill the hell out
girls that were going round clearly flirting with the waiters hugging them just to get served first kissing the checks and when the waiters or works there showed something back they would go mad and complain the first choice lady there took there complaint and said then can you please stop flirting with them blood right to i say

Many thanks for the review. We would appreciate it if you could copy and paste your review into our Hotel Reviews site at the top of the page.
Looking at 23rd April 09 roughly. Has anyone been around this time, what is the temp like??
Is it suitable for the baby??
Would be grateful for any comments, advice etc???
Thanks
Haven't been in April but got chatting to a woman over there that's got a little one and she said its lovely but can get very very hot as in 40+ what is about 110
its a nice friendly place you and your children will love it
any more info you might need let me know
shandygirlx
We went in May 08 and we are going back this May. It was hot over 100 but you would never of thought it was that hot. There is also a strong breeze which is nice. We can't wait for a bit of heat.
What do you think the chance is of getting my son into the wavelength kids club which is 9+? When we get there he will be 3 weeks short of being 9. He went to the other kids club last year and it was so babyish for him as they didn't split the group so he was in with 4 yr olds.
should be ok, we got a 2.5 year old into the kids club (should have been 3) for the same reason as the creche was way too young for her
we are going in june to the h.v and although we are both 40++ we will also have the grandchildren with us so found your review very helpfull thanks.
Im off to HV on April 23rd for a week flying from Birmingham with my 9 year old daughter, ive booked a swim up room and just hope now its not freezing cold. If anyone else is going the same time as me and would like to meet up once there, let me know. My god, i cant wait. Could anyone advise the best swim up block to be situated in for all day sunshine so i can email before i go and put in a request.
Block 7 gets the sun all day and faces the gardens.
Thanx for that jay trip, i'll email the hotel in a few weeks and put my request in.
hi,block 13 gets the sun all day and is right next to the quite pool, was there in october and sunbathing at 6.30am,work nights so dont sleep well at night great place.
thanx tracey.....suppose i could request block 7 or 13 and will hopefully be given either one.
I've just emailed the hotel to request an upgrade and either block 7 or 13. I've been asked to email back 3 days before departure as they can't do anything about it until then.

Thanx for that, much appreciated. Il probably forget to email them through all the excitement of going.
Rachael xx
If you look on the map in the brochure or Google earth you can see the positions of these 2 swim up blocks. They both face in the same direction but block 7 has a better position as the rooms look out onto the beautiful gardens.
