Just read on Tripadvisor that the E3 entertainment team are leaving as of 12th February. :(

Can anyone tell me if this is true and if so what are they doing after this date?

Cheers
Sarah.

Hi

Yeah Ive heard that E3 wont be the entertainers at the holiday villages anymore which is a shame as they did provide excellent entertainment at the holiday villages I have been to. The reps were great fun. Whilst in HV mexico last year we made friends with a few of the E3 reps and still keep in contact now & then with one of them who is still out there. Apparently a group called production suite are taking over. Not heard of them!!

xx

EDIT: ive just had a look and it now looks like thomas cook have E3.

Yes its definitely true. I took part in a web chat yesterday with Luke Gaskins from First Choice, who is head of family holiday concepts for them and I asked him that very question. He confirmed it is true. After (I think its the 12th) of February, they start their new entertainment programme which is from a mixture of the best entertainment teams from the UK.

Crowsfeet Island is being replaced by some Bob the Builder type show (which my nearly 7 year old will just hate!) and something called Kids Village Time which is a mix of interactive games and dances. Hmmmmmmmm doesn't sound quite so good as what's currently on offer! :think

Kids Village Time was on when we were there in Sept but with the E3 team and it was great, a hour of games like musical statues, dancing and singing and all the kids of all ages loved it

Harrison, I'll let you know how it is, we go out on Thursday and our ds is nearly 7.

Girl in First Choice fx today advised me to take some $1 bills for tips, does this sound right to you lot? Best to take English notes out there too?

Also, sorry, how much is the visa.

Pippy, the parrots look amazing!

Hi Scottishmum
myself hubi and 3 daughters went last August for 2 weeks had a good time there. We didnt tip anyone whatsoever we still got on well with the pool lads and they still helped us with the beds.
The only tip we left was some small change on the last day for the nice man that looked after our room. :cheers

Can't wait! I'll be sure to post a review when we get back. x

Hi reading about the entertainment teams, I take it that it is not bog standard FC as usual?
I keep hearing the entertainment is great at HV (I don't expect Broadway Show). Though after tolerating Coral Sea entertainment programme last year, It would be the only part of the holiday, I would not be looking forward to.

Though the ones answered on here, are the same questions, repeated time and time again. Don't mean to be rude but it is true.

If you want to book a swim up room what room do I need to book on the first choice holiday web site. Because I can not see anything that says swim up room. Also we are going to go in Feb next year I know the pools may be cold but think it would be good to have your own sun beds outside your room. My husband and I are going with our 6 year old. Is there any request you can make to make sure you get a room that has a lot of sun. any other advise would be grateful.

Hi pennyc,

If you go to First choice web site, the double rooms with pool view are swim -up rooms, this was confirmed to me by First Choice. You can email the hotel and request a room 2 - 3 weeks before you go,believe block 7 gets quite a bit of sun.

:sun2 Best of luck
