grannypat,when i buy eggs they always put them in a thin plastic bag so by the time i get them back to the apartment half of them are smashed !!! so i take my own box to the shop.

inflaterble mattres with foot pump from argos cant sleep on the mattreses so i have the blow up and hubby gets 2 mattreses and we both get a good sleep

I havent got to Goa yet,still searching. But when I go away now I always take about 10 of those plastic lightweight hangers you get when you buy a bra/underwear, they're great for hanging lightweight clothes on and they dont take anyroom up in your case.
Also I take bubble wrap incase I want to bring any fragile gifts/bottles home.
