I've booked a flight through netflights.com to Winnipeg, Canada from Manchester, UK flying with Air Canada. Their hold baggage allowance is great! 2 pieces, maximum 50lbs each.
Air canada's site says ,regrarding excess baggage, extra weight in either of your 2 bags $75 charge BUT you can take extra suitcases and will be charged $100 for each one. The thing is, the first flight from manchester to london, flight AC6676 - I'll be checking in at the Air Canada desk and it's an Air Canada flight code but it's operated by BMI (not sure if this is whats referred to as a code shared flight) Would I still only be charged $100 or would I have to pay BMI excess baggage charges as well for the extra case. I've tried contacting the airport about this with no luck.
I hope someone knows about this stuff
