i decided to fill in my application online and also payed online
you have to write something in every box even if its just NA (not applicable) but do not add a /
then i ent them by special delivery and they were returned in less than 2 weeks
if your going to the visa office you dont need to fill out the online form just print the normal form off and fill that in
and take it to them
i think this thread needs editting fiona as it has so many conflicting messages its very confusing

When in Goa and your six month visa is about to expire where is the nearest country, or where do you long termers go, to renew your visa?

Thanks everybody but all I want to know is how to get a bloody application form to stay on My laptop long enough to fill it in, Iv,e been often enough all Iwant is to print the application form, without going through the bloody sharks who want to charge Me £40 for doing something Iam perfectly capable of doing Myself, Ilive far too far from Birmingham to make the trip worthwhile, why on earth have they changed it, it strikes Me they just like to justify employing as many people as poss. just like when We land and have Our passports/visas checked every 3yards untill We have our luggage Hi-Jacked by the so called porters. RANT OVER FOR NOW.

so have things changed since last year because we found it really easy,printed off the forms,filled them in by hand and then handed them in to visa services in london (we live 5 mins away) collected a couple of days later,am i understanding correctly that they now have to be filled in on line etc.hope not i`m rubbish on the computer.

Istill need ti know how to keep the form up on the screen long enough to fill the thing in, altrenatively are They still the same forms as last year (cos they changed last year) if they are the same no probs. Cananyone help?

When we travelled to Goa in November and it was going to be our only visit that season, we would apply for our visas in mid to late August as there wasn't so much of a demand for them then. We used to get our passports/visas back within the week, ten days maximum.

Hi Valleylady you can get your Indian Visa in Cardiff,it opened this year think its in Splott

People who would use Edin./ Birm. now should use Hayes in Middlesex or so I am informed by the application center in Birm. It seems to change daily but this is definetley the case now
