We were in the annex and we thought the rooms were small. Fortunatley I had booked two rooms as we were two adults and two teens (age 12 and 14)
I think the standard rooms are OK for 2 adults and maybe a young child of 12 or under IMHO I dont think they are suitable for 3 adults, but maybe thats just me.

Im now worried the room is going to be too small for the 3 of us. You Know what teenage girls are like getting ready.
Well at least you dont spend alot of time in the room. Im sure we will have a fab time.
We never actually assembled the sofa bed, but it looked like a small double. I am sure it will be fine for one child. If you do spend time in the room and need a bit of extra space, perhaps you could fold it up during the day.
I really wouldn't worry too much as you say you are not in the room much anyway.
Don't know about the main part of the hotel but accross the road were we were the 2nd floor rooms have a kind of vaulted ceiling which is quite high and gives the room a spacious feel, so they do not seem claustrophobic at all, infact they seem quite light and airy.
We had two first floor rooms, next to each other at the end of a run of rooms and my hubbie commented that it was like having the upper floor of a private villa to ourselves
This is a good hotel for Turkey, you have nothing to worry about.

We were in the main building and there were 6 of us (3 in each room). I cant say the sofa bed was terrribly big .It was more of an armchair sofa bed . Our 12 year old slept fine on it but the older teenagers in the other room (17, 17 and 15) took it in turns to have the sofa bed . When folded down it still had its arms on which obviously restricted your movement .Having said that my 6ft eldest managed to sleep on it and it didnt spoil our holiday there in the slightest . Dont worry
If you are booked with thomson you will probably be in the annexe. Our daughter's room was slightly bigger than ours, it was on the end of the row in the first block and also had a bigger balcony. I would suggest you e-mail them about 3 or 4 weeks before you go asking for the biggest room available. The rooms are small but you will manage. Sorry, I'm smiling now imagining you all in a row and thinking of that song "there were three in the bed and the little one said, roll over roll over" It's a fab hotel, you will have a great time
minione that made me laugh, will have to remember that on our first night there to sing to our daughter when she is moaning why did i always get the sofa bed. She will really moan if there is no milkshakes.
Hi can anyone tell me if the safety deposit box at belcekiz beach is of a good size. My sons both have notebooks (small laptops) they would like to take with them. Just need to make sure they will fit in the safe.
You should be o.k with notebooks, we put our video camera, camera, phones and purses in there, not huge but big enough.
Whilst I dont recommend it ,If they dont fit I'm sure you would be fine to leave them in the room but would assume it would invalidate your insurance if not locked away. Despite lectures I dont think my eldest 2 sons ever put anything away in their safe at the BB. Their phones, ipods and wallets were always left out with no problems .
thankyou for the quick replys
In all the Buisness travelling I have done a normal laptop will not fit in any room safe thats why i purchased a mini laptop or as they are called a Netbook and this only just fits in some room safes.Would be interested in the answer from the Belcekiz as we go in September. My Netbook is 262x180x35mm.
Also, does anybody know if an internet connection is availiable at the Belcekiz Beach, either through Wi-Fi or a wired connection.
Hi again, there is no internet connection in the rooms. You can however pay to use the internet, there are a few computers next to the shop. When we were last there I think you could pay per 15 minutes , there's sometimes a queue though with youngsters wanting to get on msn and the like!
Why if anyone books with Thomson are they put in the Annexe???Do Thomson pre book the Annexe??
Qaterman We wern't in the annex and were with Thomson . In fact other that an odd few booking direct and a few turkish I would say practically the whole hotel is staying me Thomsons . It's a shame but You cant book the BB with anybody else .
We are currently looking for a hotel in the Fethiye area for one night in July and during my many searches with various companies, the Belcekiz Beach came up a few times so maybe they've changed their policy recently? I will try and dig out the sites from my history.
Yes please cazz . It would be good if things have changed and created more competition and DIY opportunities.
http://www.bodtur.com/hotel_fethiye.html. Still trawling through the history, unfortunately it was on Tuesday when my 17yo son passed his driving test and I was desparately looking for affordable insurance for him so there is rather a lot of history on that day! I will keep looking as I know at the time I was surprised the BB kept appearing on results as I thought it could only be booked with Thomson/Portland or Direct.
The prices have soared since last year though. We paid £1200 for 14 nights AI for 3 adults in July/Aug and it is now £150 per night!
We were staying in Fethiye last week and visited Olu Deniz - very quiet obviously but the BB (closed) was a hive of activity with the pool being renovated ready for the summer season and the outdoor bar being painted. Only two restaurants were open on the front but there were quite a few tourists around.
