casliz,

It's not all that easy to track flights and aircraft do get changed from time to time for operational reasons making the job harder. It's a time consuming process backtracking and double checking flights. I have it down as the following (operated by an ex-Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER), your flight followed by the two previous):

LGW-CUN-LGW TOM357/8 (Cancun, Mexico)
LGW-MBJ-LGW TOM813/4 (Montego Bay, Jamaica)
LGW-ANU-LGW TOM093/4 (Antigua)

Looks As Though They Are Not Putting 'Thomson Airways' On Their Aircraft For Now, Just 'Thomson' As Seen On Their Latest Boeing 737-800, Delivered March 28th Direct From Boeing (G-FDZR)

It's the same as they did last time they had a rebrand - just use Thomson to promote the holidays side of the business. I'm sure they'll get around to putting 'Airways' on them at some point.

For those interested, G-OOBH (ex-First Choice Boeing 757-200) is the first in the 757 fleet to receive retro-fitted blended winglets. Others are to follow.

For those travelling in Star Class Premium on ex-FCA Boeing 767-300/ER's, here's a wide angle photo of the SCP cab

Has anyone got anything similar for the Thomson planes?

Hi! Flying out on TOM155 from MAN to Cancun on the 8th of April. Will this be on ex FCA? Also what will the food options be on board? Are they the same now on ex FCA and TOM or different?

Hello,
I am traveling to Cancun in a few months on the following flights
TOM196
Departing 10:00
Arriving: 15:30
Manchester > Cancun
and returning on TOM197

I was wondering if anyone can confirm with me what Aircraft will be operating the flight and if you know if this flight will be operated on a Thomson aircraft or a First Choice aircraft?
Thank You

Thanks for the quick reply. Any ideas which flight this aircraft is operating prior to the flight I'm on?

GLG,

The aircraft operates flight TOM670 before yours ((BGI)Barbados-(MAN)Manchester).

I've booked extra legroom seats for the outbound flight. Assuming these could be bulkhead seats? Are the bulkheads near the toilets on the 767-300's? If so, is it possible to request emergency exit seats or are they pre assigned prior to check-in? Also does anyone have a link to the IFE during April? Many Thanks!

Hey,
Is that a confirmed ex First Choice aircraft or is there a possibility it could change back to a Thomson 767?

Also, Do the ex First Choice 767's still have the remote control in Economy Class?

GLG.

It depends which seats you are assigned. Row 11 (by the doors when you embark) are bulkhead in the middle, but door seats on the outboard pairs so loads of room. Row 20 or 28 (depending on the aircraft's history) are overwing exits. Row 11 is adjacent to the toilet. Seating is pre-assigned so it won't be possible to choose which extra legroom seats they give you. BY-TOM-AMM-FCA kindly posted the Mar / Apr IFE listing on page 98.

z.j.c,

As GowerL7 has said, it'll be an ex-FCA bird. The cabins are the same as before so yes, they still have remote controls:

Hi Darren

With regards to my early q. about the 757 fleets in operation this summer; the list of registrations i posted were from Jethros. The question was why there are 27 listed, yet early posts suggest 25 in operation this summer? Are all the Skyservice planes coming back for the summer months?

Also - nice pic of OOBH with winglets. The 757's over with Skyservice also have them fitted already don't they?

Cheers all
