Hi Sunaddict,
You will be on a 767 but it will be using an ex-First Choice aircraft it changes to an ex-Thomsonfly after May 1st Same seat pitch though. Some nicer touches on these rather than the Thomsonfly ones. Have fun.
I think Sunaddict is flying on 30th March and G-OBYx's are assigned according to my information, or is it reverting back to ex-FCA following heavy maintanance? (for future information)

It Looks As Though Is Has Reverted Back To ex First Choice (As BY-TOM-AMM-FCA Says), As Used Earlier In The Season.

All the Cuban routes have been operated by the ex-FCA aircraft all winter it never changed. It wasn't a route swapped onto a Thomsonfly aircraft (apart from random rescue flights when things went wrong with the ex-fca ones, but don't recall a cuban flight being one of them)

Sunaddict's flight (TOM094/5) has been operated by an ex-TOM since 14th Feb until last week, but now seems to be back to an ex-FCA, hence the reason I asked.

Like Sunaddict Im flighting to Holguin Cuba on Monday (30th March) but my flight number is different - TOM067 - From gatwick, Sunaddict is your flight from different airport?
And one more thing, are all of them 2-4-2 or ex First choice are 2-3-2? Here is a video what FC improved lately vide on you tube from Independent.
And the class standards? Which one is so called economy like?
So I wonder?? Thanks for reply in advance
Welcome onboard
Refer to our dedicated What Aircraft? thread for the basic differences between the ex-FCA and ex-TOM aircraft. Your flights (TOM067/8) are operated by an ex-FCA aircraft. Star Class (economy) is very nice (I came back from Mombasa with them last week), Star Class Premium (I've just posted a link to a photo above) is the premium economy section. You'll find my trip reports on the What Aircraft? thread for more detailed information.
sunaddict,
Are you sure you have the right flight numbers? That may account for the confusion. There's only one flight showing from LGW to HOG on a Monday:
Dep LGW Mon 09:15, Arr HOG 14:30, Boeing 767-300/ER, Flight No: TOM067
Dep HOG Mon 16:55, Arr LGW Tue 07:00, Boeing 767-300/ER, Flight No: TOM068
I suspect you are on that flight, along with cahirUK. TOM094 as you quoted originally is ANU (Antigua) - Gatwick. That accounts for the differences in aircraft.

Just what bothers me, are there 2 flights to Holguin on same day? Mine TOM067/68 oppose to Sunaddict's TOM094/95
You beat me to it!! See my edited post above. Having checked all the flight numbers, I think sunaddict may have posted wrong flight numbers (or been given the wrong ones) and you are infact both on the same flights (TOM067/8).
Darren
Thanks Darren so much, you are really quick

The LGW-HOG-LGW route has not been operated by a Thomsonfly 767 this winter I have just gone over the operations log and as planned every week it has been operated by a First Choice aircraft. TOM94/5 is the summer schedule which is why you would see a G-BYXX reg- which is correct, it will be a Thomsonfly or ex Thomsonfly 767.
See the above posts, I suspect sunaddict is on TOM067/8 rather than the flight numbers originally quoted, hence the confusion. Having checked the logs for TOM094 (Antigua), the aircraft details are correct for that but that's not the right flight! We'd assumed the numbers were correct but having looked at things in more detail, they aren't.

Hi Darren - Sorry. Not my fault - honest! Asked the question for some friends who are going. Think I'll have to buy her some glasses for her next birthday lol.

Just researched a bit and these planes are 13-16 years old, is it a lot for a plane? I thing they have been refreshed but still?
They are middle aged in aircraft years and very well maintained so nothing to worry about. They (ex-FCA) had a cabin refit for the winter 2005/6 season. Although they're starting to show their age in places now, the cabins are still fresh and airy. The ex-TOM aircraft (long haul) had a refit for the summer 2007 season.

Can anyone confirm for me what aircraft are operating this summer? I see from other posts that 25 757's will operate, but the following list counts 27. Which are not included?
