This was a useful tool I reckon - you could log on, and post questions, and customer service would get back to you fairly quickly. However I tried to use it today and the web site appears to be broken.
If you go to

Which is the link I've used in the past - now you can enter your user ID - but there's no entry box for your password. And if you try without, then it just complains.
anyone know when will thomas cook update their website? I've been looking for ideas for a holiday for next september, and all it's coming up with is florida and the dominican republic. is this because the new brochures aren't out yet?
Here is a link to their online brochure.
The only part that is available now is Thomas Cook Florida & Las Vegas, and a preview brochure for Tropical Shore.
TUI Travel have delayed there brochure launch too.
We are flying with Thomas Cook airways from Gatwick and wanted to no if you could check bags in the night before as we have an early flight, also how much does this service cost?, many thanks in advance for your help vickie .

Hi Vickie ... there is a separate topic for David
*Leanne* wrote:i'm also looking at a holiday, for june 2010, and on direct holidays website its £100 cheaper than on TC website, even though on TC website it says "Holiday Provided By Direct Holidays". I phoned TC and asked if they'd price match it and they say they can't because direct holidays is part of their company!! I couldn't believe that a holiday provided by DH was more expensive on TC's website, I don't understand it at all!
We just booked through a T.C store for our hols in july and it was £279 cheaper than on D.H website for the same holiday!
When DH first go on sale and for 6 to 9 months after you will find them cheaper than thomas cook. My booking was around £800 to £1000 cheaper than with thomas cook booking last May, but its always worth comparing prices.
Being fleeced TC has reported a 13% rise in revenue. Add that to the supermarkets reporting record profits and still raising prices.
agree about being fleeced was going to mexico but with the swine flu wife and son didnt fancy going anymore so changed to dom rep tc wanted £30 per person per ammendment from original booking, also after todays announcment about being allowed to go to mexico curiousity got the better of me and i priced up the mexican holiday andit had gone up by £700
I booked there accomodation on Thomas Cook's site back in March. They paid the hotel off in full within a week of book and have still not received an invoice.
Have sent many emails for them with no reply. They have spent hours on the phone trying to get through to a real person with no luck, and it is costing a fortune. Have tried the switchboard number but just end up getting cut off!
Has anyone any ideas what to do? They go in 4 weeks.
Try going to one of their shops?
They don't want to know because it was booked online.
Does the booking reference start with a Q or a P, if so the booking is actually with Thomas Cook's Flexibletrips. The tel number you need is 0870 160 9192.
Hope this is of some help.
Got my invoice today and it quotes accommodation as "3 bedded room plus Top & Tail (in an existing bed)" What does it mean?
This means that two children can share the third bed though there are some restrictions on ages by the hotelier - the combined ages have to be under 10 or similar. If there are no children on your booking, it just means you have a standard room which sleeps up to 3 adults, with either a double and single bed or three single beds. Hope this helps!
Hi, I queried the same on my invoice from Direct Holidays. My original invoice stated room for 2 ad plus 2 ch and then when I got my updated invoice after making a payment the room type had changed to 3 plus top n tail. I phoned and queried this as I wasn't happy for my children to have to share a single bed and they confirmed that the room was as I originally booked but the bed the children share may be a double sofa bed rather than 2 single ones. I asked them to confirm this in writing for me which they've done. I'd be inclined to give them a call and ask them to confirm the sleeping arrangements if you do have children in your party.
I rang my TO (TC) this morning to see if I could alter an existing TC flight on Thurs 3 - Thurs 10 Sept to Cancun so that I could go a week earlier (as our May flights for two weeks were cancelled and this one week trip had already been booked by then so could not re-schedule at the time). They were showing availability on the TC.com website this morning but the TO told me the flight was full. Long story and many phone calls and two hours later and all Thursday flights end of August onwards seem to have now disappeared on TC website and TO has confirmed that aviation have put a block on my flight. Although all Thursday flights have now disappeared the TO reassures me that our flight is still showing as current but in the event that they do cancel or make any changes, we will be advised etc. My concern is that this morning there was clearly availability in both economy and premium and TC already fly Wed and Sat so am concerned they have decided to cancel Thur flights and maybe consolidate with other existing ones. Has anyone any idea why there is this block - want to know asap as FCA still have premium availability for our dates so would want to book new flights asap and, as we have already missed out on one trip this year (and our dates are not very flexible), I don't want us to miss out again or have to pay a fortune for a last minute flight etc.
Thanks all
