Premium is rows 1-5, economy row 6 aft (to row 37 from memory). The premium and economy sections are seperated by a curtain.

Darren, thanks for speedy reply. Have been a lurker of this site for many years, and have always been able to find what Im looking for through searching these boards. I have never flown with first choice before, either long or short haul, but have with Thomsons and Airtours/My travel. Premier with Airtours was awful, nice seating but very inattentive and abrubt crew, vowed never to do Premier again, but the price this time, well a bargain!! So heres hoping!! Also the first time long haul from our local airport, cant wait. Thanks again.

The Service With First Choice Is (In My Oppinion) The Best Of Any British Charter Airline.
You Will Get A 36" Seat Pitch And AVOD ( On Demand) TV.

Saying That Their Economy Service Is Very Good Also

i just called thomson and they said the flights from dublin are not up on the system yet so they should be up by Monday , and we can book our seats then.
They also said if the flights are not up on their systems by Monday then we cannot pre book the seats as they have to be booked 3 days before you fly.

Hi darren, we are flying from exeter to dalaman on 27th aug, tom406. please can you let me know the aircraft configuration, and whether it will be fca, as we booked through them but understand about the merger.

Also can you choose what you watch onboard the aircraft or do you have to watch what they put on? useful to know as travelling with 3 young children.

EXT-DLM-EXT (TOM406/7) are operated by an Airbus A320-214. Refer to our What Aircraft? thread for more details. These are from the former First Choice fleet as Thomsonfly never operated them. They have 180 seats configured 3-3 with 28" seat pitch. IFE is provided via overhead LCD panels above the seats so you can't choose what you want to watch, it's whatever is on offer at at the time (July / August listing). It's only the long haul aircraft with individual seat back screens where you have a choice. If you're in Icmeler, I'll see you there (I fly out on 4th Sept :tup

If flying on a 767, and assuming there are seat back TV's on the flight, where would the TV screens be located if having booked exit seats.

They are located in the arm rests and fold out along with the tray table. This means the seat is a little narrower. According to the aircraft schedule, you're on a 757-200 (winglets). Even if you are on a 767, not all have seat back IFE. Some of the current long haul aircraft are reverting back to short haul, so you might be lucky.

If that's the case I'd sooner by flying on a 757 as I don't fancy watching TV with tray table in front of me all through the flight!

How do u request exit seats? Do u ask for them when you check in and pay extra? I'd rather have an exit seat as my boyfriend will moan all the way to Sharm that he cant get comfy and I dont want that to be the start of my holiday! :cheers

Exit seats are sold as extra legroom seating and need to be prebooked. Refer to Thomson Airways website for more details.

I booked our exit seats with Thomson Airlines by hponing 0871 231 4787.

Could have booked them through the Travel Agent, but I prefer to book any upgrades direct with the airline.

Forgot to say we paid £50 return for the exit eats to Hurghada, so would imagine it would be the same for Sharm.
