Jonouk1211,

Both are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. Refer to our What Aircraft? thread for more details.

Hi Pat!

When I booked my holiday I asked if I could book seats together and she said that you couldnt do it (First Choice) the next day my mum booked her holiday to Tenerife but this time the travel agent booked them seats together. I was told that you just ask for seats together when you check in...so i presumed this was the same you could just ask when you checked in and paid for them.

Thanks for the number though, I will note it down. Thanks everyone for their help :)

As Wizard says ,you'll be flying with Thomson Airways (not First Choice) regardless. Most people prefer the former First Choice aircraft (763's) but if you mean you wanted to fly on one of the former Thomsonfly aircraft (763), try one of the following;

MAN-SFB-MAN (TOM112/3 & TOM118/9) - Orlando
MAN-POP-MAN (TOM122/3) - Puerto Plata, Dom Rep
MAN-PUJ-MAN (TOM126/7 & TOM136/7) - Punta Cana, Dom Rep
MAN-AUA-MAN (TOM156/7) - Aruba
MAN-VRA-MAN (TOM174/5) - Varadero, Cuba

sammy1988,

Aminity packs are on your seat when you board your outbound flight. Pillows and blankets are provided, you don't need to pay for them.

Jonouk1211,

There's no plans to rebrand them that I've seen as yet. They are due in to receive blended winglets at the end of the year so things might change then. I hope not, the First Choice rainbow stripe is a bit more asthetic than boring blue Tui!

Jonouk1211,

As far as I'm aware, there are no changes to aircraft interiors planned on the long haul side. There's no point with the 787's coming online in the next year or two (due May 2010 - 2013; if the thing ever leaves the ground!). I think most will agree that's a good move since the ex-FCA aircraft are nicer from a passengers perspective.

The 787-800 is in developmental stages at the moment and hasn'r made it's maiden flight. Due in the next month or two) so no one know's what they are likely exactly at the moment. They are replacing the long haul 767-300/ER's so will be used on ling haul routes. You'll find loads of information on Boeings website; Thomson Airways are the euopen launch lustomer for the type..

Welcome onboard :tup
LGW-MBJ-LGW (TOM030/1) are operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER. All the aircraft details are on our What Aircraft? thread. They are configured 2-4-2 in ecomomy and 2-3-2 in premium.

Thanks Darren
Does that mean if its a 2-4-2 plane that the seats are narrower? when we flew First Choice it was a 2-3-2 which was better as the seats were wider and more comfortable not really looking forward to being more cramped as my friend and I are not exactly skinny :(
