october can be as hot as may/june.just gets a little chiller at night.and you might get the odd dull but still hot day.plus the odd rain shower.you should get prices same as may.may and oct are the cheapest times really.but i hear a hotel up that way is open till nov or maybe all year round,now that ryanair fly all year.

We went in the half term in October last year - it was the last week of the season.
It rained for 4 out of the 7 days. The hotel was getting ready to shut for the winter and although we had a great time, we wouldn't go at that time of year again.

Just our opinion though.

well thats funny .i went last year in oct.6th till 24th.in playa den bossa we had 2 really bad days and the odd downpour.ibiza;s weather can be strange.raining in one resort red hot in another.saying that i have been in late june into july.out of 14days we had around 7 good days.storms and dull rest of the time.it hit n miss.but don;t let a bit of rain put you off.make the most of it.

Does anybody know how much it is to hire a fridge from the beach club or is it cheaper to request it from Thomson/Portland?

I'm sure we paid 42 euros for the hire of a fridge from the hotel. You can e-mail them before you go and they will arrange it for you. Enjoy your holiday-it's a fab place!

It's been 3 euros a night for the last 5 years booking it from the reception. I would imagine that Thomsons / Portland would charge you more, due to their 'administration costs'. I.E rip you off.

Hi all. we are thinking of returning for 4th visit to the San Miguel, and its good to see that Zorro and Ollie are still there, and Jose from Western Saloon - what a great guy he is, especially with the hours he puts in behind that bar! But does anyone know if Natasha is there this year? I know that some years she joins the team from mid season, so if she isnt there at the moment, please could anyone going there soon ask Zorro if she will be there in August? We have said that it wouldnt be the same if she wasnt there with Zorro and Ollie! Thanks and happy holidays xxx

Natasha will not be back at San Miguel. She has been replaced with Eva, who is great and is also Zorros girlfriend!!

Can anyone give me an up to date price on taxi from airport to hotel or suggest a cheaper alternative? Bit nervous as we had Thomson transfers lincluded last year.

Hi Colinrog - in previous years we have paid between 32-40 euros for a taxi from the airport depending on the time of day/night we have arrived.

Hi everyone, just back from sunny san miguel.Was there for 2 weeks and hot hot hot everyday. Zorro in top form as usual. 2 new entertainers this year. Ava, who is zorros girlfriend. She is a lovely person and so friendly, and Robbie, who is also a lovely person. Join in the games and you will get to know them. For anyone who wants to work out if they are there for boogie nights it was on Thursday night 18th june. Anyone wanting to go to any of the nightclubs after the shows, Robbie is usually willing to take you if you help out with the petrol. It gives them a bit extra cash. Alfredo, restaurant manager is still there. Jose still on top form with the slippery nipples. All inclusive now stops at 11.00 pm. You can still buy drinks until midnight, alcoholic ones 2 euros, soft ones 1 euro. Western saloon still have the saome menu on offer. Popcorn, ice cream and ice lollies still free. We have just booked to stay at the beach club for 10 days!! from the 1st - 11th of July it will be our first time at the san miguel but our 5th super family, got a great deal booking hotel, flights, transfers ect as separates via thomson and saved over 700 !! quid

i have actually stayed in san miguel before many moons ago as a child, we stayed in the appartments over beach

There will be my hubby, our 2 daughters aged 6 & 4 and my 4 mth old son oh and me lol !! ideally we could do with could with a room on the ground floor or one without to many steps, close by the pool/beach, as my little one is fully breast fed and it would be nice to pop back to our room to feed him, can anyone recommend a room number ?

also do the supermarkets still sell fags?

im sure i will have loads more to ask lol, just nine more sleeps!!!!
