Just returned from a Hot and Sunny Benidorm. Don't usually bother with the acts but did see the Blues Brothers and I can recommend them; even if Soul Music is not your cup of tea.
I have read on another forum that Pancho's is now open.
The owner of this place is a rude man, me and my other half were talking to a couple at the airport and they said they used this place quite often and that the food was nice, I was asking them about Indian gate, so we thought we'd go and try it, so one afternoon we took a walk over to it, it opened at 11.30am, we arrived at it around 12pm, no one was in apart from a waiter and the manager sat at the back, the waiter saw us stood at the door so he went over to the manager, the manager then looked over to us, noticed that we had a young child with us(who was very well behaved and quiet), shook his head and said no, bare in mind the place was empty and that it was in the afternoon, needless to say, I wished him all the best in going bust, it couldn't happen to a nicer prat, on the other hand we went to the china garden and the food was lovely and they welcome you with open arms, we will be visiting the china garden when we're next in Benidorm at the end of October 09.

No of course it isn't too early, you don't need to have 10 pints before you have one, for me its about the nice flavours not it being burning hot so that you can't taste anything.
Panchos re-opens tonight after refurbishment.
Woody Brown was advertised for 2am this morning! (After sticky vicky etc). It's also open in an afternoon!!! (Well the terrace bit is anyway!!) Advertising 1 euro a pint of San Miguel.
Discovered a new bar today on Calle Londre, Betty Boos, opened in October, formally Vonnys, really reasonable prices open from 8am till very late, free internet not just wifi. Free use of the laptop! Also wifi too, well worth a visit, check out the betty booze fridge, something for everyone.
Walked past Betty Boos nearly everyday for the fortnight, perhaps I should have given it a go. Went next door to Lino's.
nobody talks about johnny kalendar!...one of the funniest comics in Beni IMHO......
Is he the fellow that goes around putting hats on everybody in a manic way?
nope! hes a zanny comic and sings a bit. Calls everyone with glasses a specsavers rep!
I wouldn't say calling "everyone with glasses a specsavers rep", funny!

me neither!
Just been to Beni and I can't recall seeing this "comedians" name on any chalk - boards. Before anyone says I don't have a sense of humour, I've had to watch NUFC all season, so I obviously have!!!!
Johnny Kalendar's here still. He works at Gigolos every night. Maybe you missed their board eddie..... should've gone to specsavers!!!
Was in Lupins most nights, next door to Gigolos, still can't recall seeing his name; and by the way, I do wear glasses, from Specsavers as it happens!!!!
Ah well, he's on every night at Gigolos at either 10 or 11pm!!! Did you see Eve at Lepins?
