We stay in Javea quite regularly but in October we are hoping to take my daughter with us who has a phobia about travelling in a car and can't manage either motorways or long journeys.
She is Ok on coaches and trains and although I've had a good Google around I haven't come up with anything.
Does anyone know if there is a train or coach service from the airport to Javea (or close by)
I haven't checked out Valencia airport yet which is another possibilty.
Thanks all.

Is she ok in a large Minibus? I'd contact David at Prestige Tours he uses one for transfers and his service is top class, he's English and is very helpful and reliable, have a look on the wensite and give him a call.

Thanks both
you try looking at resorthopper they have buses that go there.
I would endorse Taggy's recommendation about David (dgutte) at Prestige Tours. I don't think a more helpful person could be found and his driving is excellent. His Minibus sits above the road, more like a coach so your daughter may well be able to cope.

I couldn't agree more

The problem you would have with using services such as resorthoppa and shuttledirect is that you would not be guaranteed that they would be providing a Coach or Minibus for your transfers. Particularily for a transfer to and from Javea which is no where near as popular as Benidorm, you may well find that even though you've booked for a shared transfer, you might be the only people being taken there, and if thats so, it will probably be in a car. Thats even happened to us a couple of times going to Benidorm. Also if they do provide a Bus, and there are others to be dropped off, that would in all probability mean a longer journey for you, assuming that other passengers may get dropped off before you, and picked up after you on your return. With David, you would get the large minibus and be dropped off direct, with no delays!

hi we are flying out on mon morning with flyglobespan.
ive noticed that they dont have a rep at the alicante airport to meet you. you have to look for the person or coach driver holding a card with flyglobespan on it.
has anyone done this before with globespan and are they easy to find. any information on this would be a big help.
thanks tel.

normal then.like most reps do hold a sign up.some even have a desk.but if it says sign then look out for it.depends if your landing at t1 or t2.if terminal 2 then all you have to is walk down to where the buses are.but make sure your still in airport so you will walk passed the bus driver where main arrivals come out from t1.
wow best of luck its not cheap to get there.r/h only do as taxi service.so this david guy is the best bet.r/h is way over £350.00. for 3 people or 4 .its say 1 hour travelling time.
Anyone know best transfer from Alicante to Torrelamata (just before Torrevieja itself)
I've been quoted many different prices ranging from £143 to a whopping £728 return!!!!!!!
There's 2 adults and 4 children travelling with 3 suitcases and probably a holdall!
I think it's around 35-40 miles but not sure.
If you think £143 return is a fair price I would book.
Cheers!
