yes the roman bar is open at all times just that on a friday it is used by Thomas Cook for there reps night out.the guys that work there have bowls on your table of strawberries and melon balls and dishes of nuts filled up constantly all night. the guys are very friendly and great with the kids they remembered us a week later when some of our group called in for a drink.
the tractor no longer runs from the sun zeynep but still operates in and around the Belek area

When did the tractor stop going to and from the Zeynep,i was in Belek at the end of may and i got the tractor from Kadriye to the zeynep to visit for the day ,i got a cab back as i was staying at the susesi in belek ,so i did not really notice if it was there or not .It is a great way to travel .

do not know. We asked the rep about it and she just said that it did not run anymore.

if no tractor how do we get to the roman bar? can you walk it or taxi? Did you use the kids club?

Dolmus outside hotel gates takes you straight to kadrieye for 1.5 lira each
taxi will take you straight there for about 15 lira
or go on the rep night out they will take you there on a coach for £9 each

Just got back today hotel is good but not 5 star. We where put in the hotel on the 4 floor first and the room was dirty and not facing the sea, so we asked if we could be moved and they moved us to a bungalow which was very clean. The room is just like a travel lodge room and cleaned every day. Food is good lots of different choices eg steaks, pizzas, chicken dishes, chicken burgers, lamb dishes, spag bol, kebabs and loads more. The pools are great but look very tired as there are lots of tiles missing and cracked so watch your feet. Apart from that the slides are great fun and open fron 10 till 12 and then from 3 till 5. SUN BEDS are a nightmare our first week we had to get up at 7.30 to get one but 2nd week we strugled 2 get them as hotel was full. Russian's are rude but you just ingore them. Kids club is fantasic but be warned its free but you have to pay if you want to do horse riding, paint a t-shirt or sand picture it is cheap about £8 per a item but it mounts up if they do one every day. Only went to the italiain resturant which is great but order everything off the menu as portions are small. Overall, we had agreat holiday and would go back one day but the hotel is closing for 2 years for a much needed refurb. Oh by the way on last day nobody could get aroom so its a long day waiting for a morning flight. Take your own towels to put on sun beds as if you use hotels any Russian will pinch bed and leave towel on floor. Make sure if you are flying with thomas cook your bags are not over weight as they charge £10 per kilo over EACH WAY! Overall great holiday for the pice we paid

thanks Janet :cheers

It was very hot in the 45's every day so take lots of sun cream. The tiles are very slippy around the pool so just watch the kids from running around. just a couple for cut feet when we were there.

;) thanks and i bet the one who cuts his self will be my sun
Thanks Janet ;)

Dont be putting the hex on your holiday before you go Janet :yikes I am quite sure judging by past experiece at the Zeynep that if the problems with the tiles are brought to the attention of the receptrion it will be fixed straight away.Lots of pools i have been to have slippy tiles ,just make sure your son wears flip flops .

thanks Janet :cheers

no thomas cook team it was the hotels staff which was not great but the childrens club was great and always made a effort to get your child involed and even took them to lunch with them. they spoke very good english

:) hi did you use turkish lira or euro or sterling because i can not rember what we took last time
thanks Janet :D
Reply
Best to take a few quids worth of lira with you and exchange sterling into lira out there that way you will get a better rate of exchange .If you chop and change between euro and lira you will end up losing money ,best to stick to one .
When i was there in July i got 2.5 in Belek and Kadriye .
