if you send an e-mail to reservas@rosuhotels.com requesting a certain room and hotel they should be able to help.
You can also call 00 34 971 592800 and ask to speak to the Marta or Maria Jose in the res dept and they will try and help whenever they get a call, their English is very good actually!
Most agents sell the hotel as a complex and you may be allocated into either block depending on availability, however if a certain company has a guarantee or large allotments then you will see this when you book as they will normally try and book you into their allocated rooms.
Either way this is not a problem and the hotel will always try and help ensure that all guests are happy and comfortable with their rooms and views when ever possible.

Just to confirm that we always email before we go and they do go out of there way to help you. Daughter and boyfriend going next week and she emailed them and got told they would try and fix them up with a seaview.
Me and my wife were there two weeks ago and got a pleasant suprise when we received a knock at the door and were presented with a bottle of wine, two glasses, corkscrew and silver tray with a card welcoming us back to the hotel and wishing us a happy holiday from the Hotel Corfu Reception

Can I ask what booking agent everyone uses? Have seen it on alpha rooms and travel republic website for the same price?

I used Cosmos, mainly because I had 2 years worth of Tesco Clubcard vouchers saved up and they were worth 4 times that amount in £s, so I got £480 knocked off the price

This time, 4 couples are going on Sept 5th, I got a better price from alpharooms.

Second time for us, we like the laid back feel of the place and it certainly is a good spot by the beach. Terry I emailed them a few weeks before we went to say we were coming back and asked for our previous room number, so maybe that triggered it 
Colin, I had been re-sending the same e-mail each time, so they knew we were regulars. The change of ownership messed that up!!!
Thanks everyone for the tips,have just booked this,not untll next year though,have still got a holiday to have this year!have looked at the Corfu and Skorpios in the past so happy with my choice and the price.Will use the shuttle bus to save a bit of money,have got good flight times so it does not matter if the journey takes longer than a taxi

We are off on a well needed 2 weeks at the Skorpios Hotel at the end of august this year and am surprised that it is no longer part of the same hotel group that it was when we booked it over 12 months ago.
I'm persuming the standard of the holiday will not have changed when we go.....?
All we want is a nice room with all inclusive food and the sun shining for two weeks. Just wondered if it was worth trying to contact someone about a room request as we would like a high floor?
Plus has anyone been here recently?

I am sure that you will have a lovely time and the fact that it has changed hands has now in anyway changed the quality and good service that guests are used to.

I would contact the hotel and ask for whatever type of room you would like, I would ask for a sea view as the view on to the small beach and down out the small harbour is lovely.

Thank you. I have contaced the hotel on the email address and got a very quick reply and they said they would try and accommodate us with our requests.
Just booked a holiday here through rosuholidays.com. I have not previously visitied the hotel or resort so have no idea who these hotels used to be run by. However I got a cracking rate so I'm happy. sales@rosuholidays.com

I booked direct through rosuholidays. Give them a call they were most helpful with all my questions. I'm off to Ibiza tomorrow for a few nights so that should be good! All the best with the Majorca booking cazza1
I just phoned the reservations number and they told me that the Corfu will be closed in October with only the Skorpios open, do you think this is due to lack of bookings ?
I am wondering now if it will be deserted in October?

I always book flights and hotel separately. You will always be able to get a better deal than through a travel agent. Don't book direct with the hotel either for the same reason.
