Hi all any one know which aircraft will be the nov 28th lgw to cancun
Ex fc or tom thanks very much...
At present, it should be a fomer First Choice aircraft (763). However, some of the former Thomsonfly aircraft currently assigned to short haul duties will be reverted back to long haul for the winter season so it might be best to check back with us closer to the time just in case there's a change.
Darren
Welcome onboard
MAN-SFB-MAN (TOM114/5) are currently operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find further aircraft details on our What Aircraft? guide. I posted the IFE for July / August on page 134. September / Octobers won't be available until the end of the month. Meal information is provided by BY-TOM-AMM-FCA on pages 136/7.

Hi Darren
Thanks for getting back to me so quick can I just ask you one more question where will this plane have come from before it takes us to sanford.
Thank you
I take it these ex tom you mention are seated (set up) as in leg room and things for long haul, but used due to high demand in summer for short haul..
cheers
There are 7 former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER's in the Thomson Airways fleet, along with 6x former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER's. The 6x former FCA aircraft are assigned to long haul routes permanantly, along with 1x of the former TOM aircraft (G-OBJY). The remaining 6x former TOM 763's are assigned to short haul duties and have been reconfigured from 283 seats in a two class configurations to the 328 seat all economy configuration (328Y / short haul). The configurations are given on our What Aircraft? guide. These aircraft were reverted from long to short haul due to decreased demand this summer for long haul flights following the swine flu outbreak in Mexico, and increased demand in summer short to mid haul routes. Some of the aircraft will revert back to long haul duties for the winter season.
Darren
TOM114/5 should be coming in from TOM148/9 (Cancun, Mexico) or TOM172/3 (Montego Bay, Jamaica). As there's a few hours between flights, there's no specific flight it comes in from and they rotate.

thankyou
Love the site it's slightly addictive. Been reading since holiday in March this year we had some problems with the return leg which I would like to avoid this time, we heading back to the same destination but with the kids and on a different weekday.
Probably way too early to ask but just wanted to say Hi and ask anyway.
Man-Cancun-Man 16th December TOM 148 /149 any info would be of use.
Family of four in Premium:
How many rows up front as we would like to try and pre-book seats hols been booked since April prefer to sit together (kids don't like to fly even though they both late teens).
Thanks in advance.
Holidaynow!
what aircraft will we be flying on please bristol to thessaloniki tom 6148. thanks
Hi Dazbo , can you tell me what aircraft i'll be on for a flight from LGW to Taba on Nov.10th, its TOM 512 , i've also booked extra legroom/space seats they cost £50 each both ways , is the pitch a lot better? are there any particular seats i should try for as we can do DBCI. Thanks Andy.
From what is on the Thomson Schedules the Monday flight is set to be operated on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Unfortunately this aircraft does not have seatback screens. It will have overhead LCD screen for the entertainment. Seating will be 3-3.

Welcome, the seating on the aircraft in Premium will be 2-3-2. If I was yourself I would book 2 2's behind each other. This way the kids can sit together on 2 and you can sit infront or behind on another 2. This also allows you to switch if you would like such as Mum and Child, Dad and Child or what ever combination you like.
With the 3's it means 1 of you will be separated. I can not tell you if the flight is ex-FCA or ex-TOM as Dazbo says some of the ex-TOM are being reconfigured so not too sure on this at the moment but I can confirm it will be a Boeing 767-300

Thanks ZJC, looks like row 12 might be quite good ? not too sure if the seats are pre-allocated or if we can choose at check-in, we will use DBCI as we're staying at gatwick the night before , we booked holiday through first choice
I thought seats were pre-allocated but when I went to Cancun from Manchester they asked me and my family what seats we would like and because we were traveling in a group the seated us all together on the aircraft, and it was the same coming home from Cancun. They asked us the cabin we would like and the seating preference we would like. I was very impressed im used to be told where to sit not being able to pick.

P.S
No Problem Dazbo.

Row 12 (extra legroom) are in pairs so good if you're travelling as a couple. Seating is pre-allocated the day before the flight.
z.j.c,
As you had a change of aircraft, your seating probably wasn't pre-allocated for that reason given is was a non-standard flight.
