Any savings however small are worth getting so I would always cancel and rebook even if you are only saving $20 overall. Who knows with that $20 in a slot, you could turn it into $500....I've always been a glass half full kind of guy!!!
Excalibur are certainly going for it at the moment, certainly more than a lot of the other properties. I'm guessing occupancy levels are down and they are trying to get business by offering ridiculously low rates. I mean, you'd expect $22 a night at the Sahara or Strat, not the Excalibur. Not that I am bothered, my dates are booked and even with these new deals my original is still the cheapest. I am actually looking forward to our stay in the Excalibur. We really enjoyed it in 2006 and as I have mentioned before it was the scene of our biggest win so far on a 25c slot ($400) and I also think the cocktail service is still the best we've had in the trips we've done so far.
Roll on November 14th....
You might get a bigger saving - I cancelled a booking at mgm and due to shift in exchange rate my deposit returned was bigger than the one paid its a few pennies but thats another spin
