How long are the visas taking this year? Me being a total dingbat forgot to make note of my passport number so can't track it

I posted mine on Monday and just checked the progress of the application and it says, your processed application is with royal mail, if we get them tomorrow it will be a record for me.

Hi celcat ours took a week, i think thats about average at the moment, i have heard of some getting them back earlier. Dont worry they seem to be very efficient at VFS this year. Gel
Celcat our reference number was at the top of our form did you keep a copy?
I've got my reference number but when I went to look it asked for my passport number. 
celcat..When you get your passport back make a copy of that and your visa just incase you loose it anytime...Its gain also when getting your money changed or getting a sim card for your phone..
i email a copy of my passport to my inbox and leave it there, that way as long as you can get access to a computer you can always find out your passport number

With the postal strikes the only things that seem to be getting through in record time are bills and Indian Visas!!!!!!!!
Got mine sent back and told to fill in fathers name.....have always put NA in for this for past 5 years.
