We arrived home yesterday after a great holiday in the Castilla hotel.
We had lovely weather and only had a few showers on a couple of days.
Admittedly it was cool in the evenings( but not nearly as cold as the UK!}
As many people have said it is really quiet in Benidorm in the evenings with lots of bars a Cabaret Bars closed. We went to several Cabaret shows and particularly enjoyed Neil Ross at the Town and Deb'n Her at the Tower. There were still lots of people walking along both the Levante and Poniente promenades in the mornings.
Despite all the doom and gloom about Benidorm I think a lot of other resorts would envy the number of holidaymakers who visit and the bar prices are still very competitive.
As always we did a lot of walking and several times walked along the new Poniete sea front and over into Cala Finestrat,and also up into the old town when visiting Altea.
