Flight Only / Airline and Airports

Flights to LRM from Gatwick are usually operated by ex-First Choice 767's by elimination it seems it will stay the same as the ex-Thomsonfly birds are both busy at other airports the day LRM goes. There is very little difference between them I wouldn't book or not book a holiday on the strength of a type of aircraft as that can change at very short notice.

TOM810/1 will be a 757-200, Most probably G-OOOZ ex First Choice- This could change however.

TOM-AMM

Thanks for Reply.

I agree I wouldn't book a holiday solely on the plane, but it helps in my decision making. ;)

I just wanted to know what Planes they are using for that route as a Rule, I have used both Planes and also agree
the difference is not huge.

cheers

Hi Darren,

PrincessLili42,

It'll be a First Choice liveried aircraft as Thomsonfly never operated the A321. There have been 4326 A32x series aircraft produced to date, 4253 of which are currently in service. They have an excellent safety and reliability recored. IFE is linked from our What Aircraft? guide.

flymo,

LGW-LRM-LGW (TOM060/1) are normally an ex-FCA 76W, but that's subject to change. Further aircraft information is available on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

A while back now I posted with a problem about booking a flight via Thomson holidays using a Thomas Cook flight... at the time I was concerned that I wouldn't receive my ticket in time before I flew, as I live overseas. Well I eat humble pie, as my ticket arrived on Thursday :cheers A dear little booklet with my name printed on it!!! Very novel to me as I usually only have a sheet I print off from my computer!!! I have no idea what type of plane I am travelling on, all I care is that it takes me from A to B safely!!!!

Hi Darren - just looked at What Aircraft and can't find an FCA 76W mentioned - could you excuse my ignorance and expand a little?

Thanks

Flymo :duh

76w is another term used for 767-300 with Winglets.

I already confirmed it was an ex-First Choice 767, why the repeat question?

Sorry - it was the 76W that confused me.

Fine with that.

Cheers - Chocks Away!

Hi....Im flying Dalaman-Luton and darren has informed me it will be a 737/800.....when looking at the seat plans it looks as if the right side of the aircraft upto approx row 11 have more leg room than the left side?!? Also are these rows slightly staggered on opposite sides of the aisle....can anyone clarify for me? ...thanks for your help

its an illusion apart from the special needs [blue bulkhead]and the wing exit [green] the seat pitch is the same on the remainder

Looking into going back to Cuba (Varadero) next year May 2011 and checking the flights it is now showing that Thomson is not flying into Varadero but Havana instead?

Mistake on their website or genuine change of airport?
