Had some issues in regards to dietary requirements on a Thomas Cook Airlines flight last month.
I booked the holiday with Direct Holidays (obviously part of TC) but flew with Thomas Cook Airlines
So in regards to this, do I complain to Thomas Cook, Thomas Cook Airlines or Direct Holidays?
I assume that you ordered a particular meal that was not provided. My youngest who flies to the USA several times a year has given up on the meals as in his experience they never get it right. He tends to use Virgin. I think your first port of call has to be Direct Holidays as the initial order/booking was placed with them. Get them to at least confirm in writing what you asked for. After that then probably Thos Cook but don't hold your breath for anything other than the usual apology letter.
I wonder who really is at fault is such cases. The airline or the passengers. Obviously you asked for a specific meal but I wonder how many just order then decide when they get it they ordered something else - they did not - they just assume they can order as in a restaurant.
