care bear,
I don't have the full S11 aircraft schedule as yet, but BHX-MAH-BHX (TOM7328/9) is normally operated by a Boeing 767-304/ER (328 seats, short haul). I should be able to confirm in within the next eek or two. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Thanks darren
Cheers Al
The last time I flew longhaul was with FC back in 2008 and I have never flown longhaul on a thomson plane. Im just wondering is the premium cabin on a thomson plane similar to what it was like in 2008 on a first choice aircraft? Im hoping to fly to dom rep in september 2011 and just trying to decide whether upgrading to premium is worth it or not.
Thanks for any help

Not on a commercial aircraft that are required to have 2 pilots! That's the case in GA, or the right seat in helicopters.

You'll find aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). There are slight differences between the premium cabins on the ex-FCA and ex-TOM. The most notable is the size. It's the whole of the front cabin (9 rows / 63 seats) on the ex-FCA but only half the front abin (5 rows / 31 seats) on the ex-TOM. Seat pitches are 1" different (37" exTOM, 36" ex-FCA) and the tray tables fold out of the arm rest on the ex-FCA rather than the usual seat back on the ex-TOM. Because of that, the arm rests are fixed on the ex-FCA. There's mood lighting on the ex-FCA. There are other slight differences, but they're the main ones. Service is exactly the same.

Flying to Aruba on 24/05 (TOM030) and back again on 07/06 (TOM031).
Will this be an ex Thomson or ex First Choice plane?
Thanks
Mark
MarkJ,
I have pre booked seating going to Egypt, Is the 3 hour rule enforced.
Im wanting to get breakfast at the premier inn Manchester where we are staying. Breakfast isnt served untill 7am and the plane departs 10.30. I was hoping I could check in around 8-8.30.
Thanks
Garry.
You can check-in up to 40 minutes before your departure time (at your peril!). That's when check-in for your flight closes. However, the recommendation is to check-in 2-3 hours before your departure time in order to give the airline plenty of time to prepare the flight and you enough time to get through security, do any shopping you want, grab some refreshments and be at the gate in plenty of time (45 minutes before the departure time). There isn't any enforcement of checking-in 3 hours before your flight (never has been, just a recommendation), but it's in your interest to leave plenty of time. I would never recommend you leave it until last minute to check-in, 2 hours is fine most of the time for short / medium haul flights and 3 hours for long haul. You need to thinking about when you are flying, ie is it going to be busy at check-in (time of day / year), at security, etc. 8-8.30 is a busy time for check-in as most flight depart before lunch so bear that in mind, especially if you're flying in the school hols.

Thanks Darren.
From reading this forum I understand that our flight from Newcastle/Punta Cana/Newcastle in July 2011
will most likely be a Boeing 767-300/ER in the former First Choice configuration. If I read it correctly another post suggests that seats in row 19 do not recline, can you confirm if this the case. I would book row 19 seats if they do recline because with the wing exit behind, you would not be getting puished from the rear.
many thanks
Colin
Welcome onboard
Your aircraft details are correct. The centre seats on row 19 recline fully. I enjoyed a nice 14 hour flight sat in those for the same reason you have. These are the row in front of the overwing exits on row 20. One aircraft in the fleet is configured differently to this with the overwing exit on row 28 (G-OOAN). You'll find further details on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

I have followed this site for some time and have 3 questions.
First, flying 20 April TOM070 to Punta Cana and back on 1 May TOM061 - Can you advise which planes we will be on?
Second, will the IFE have changed over by 1 May to the May/June list or is there a slight time delay?
Finally I have read that the luxury pampering pack is not currently being provided in the premium cabin. Does the airline provide anything instead, eg socks, toothbrush and paste, moisturiser etc? Do I need to take my own?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Welcome onboard
LGW-PUJ-LGW (TOM070/1) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. Current IFE is for March / April, but it may not have been changed by 1st May as it needs some down-time for that and is normally done when undergoing maintenance checks as I beleive it takes about 3 hours to update the system. As far as I know, the pampering packs aren't being issued at the moment so you won't get them. Personally, I never used them anyway. I have 6 in my cupboard if you want one!! Take your own if you need them but bear in mind security restrictions with liquids / gels.

I was just wondering if you know what aircraft is used on the Gatwick to Porto Santo route?
Thanks.
Please provide a flight number when requesting aircraft information as there are often several flight. This ensures we get the correct information for you. I'm assuming you're on the TOM4110/1? I don't have the full S11 schedule as yet, but it should be a Boeing 757-200 or 737-800.
Darren
Sorry, yes it is that flight number, on the 17th October.
When you say you are awaiting some of the summer schedule does this mean that the flight time for TOM7304 quoted on the booking as 06.45hrs may still be scheduled to change? if so have you got that information yet? presumably it will still be a 757-200.
Thanks
That is TOM7304 BHX to VRN 25/05/11.
