I went to book my March holiday to Tunisia today and ended up booking Fueteventura.
I dont know how that happened but will be back to Tunisia hopefully in the autumn
Any easy mistake !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well it gives you an excuse to book another holiday

Fuerteventura it a quiet island and have been before 7 years ago so looking forward to some sunshine.

It's such a relief when you can stop checking prices - it's very tedious!
El Hana Beach. It certainly isn't one of the best hotels but I've stayed there a couple of times before and it's in a very convenient position, just over the road from the beach, an easy walk to the Medina etc,, just round the corner from a nice cafe, Sunrise, owned by an English friend and her Algerian husband, the staff are very friendly and it doesn't break the bank so it suits me fine. I don't acually spend a great amount of time in the hotel so as long as I've got a comfortable bed and friendly staff I'm a happy bunny.
Hope you have a great time. We're off to Hammamet in a few days. I'm just hoping the weather's a bit better than it has been
http://www.accuweather.com/en/tn/susah/321052/march-weather/321052?monyr=3/1/2012 Tunisia has had quite a cold winter and a friend has had her central heating on almost full time but it seems to be getting better now.
We're only going for a week this time but off to Djerba for a fortnight in September. The temperature in Hammamet seems to veer wildly between 12 and 22 degrees during the day and fairly cold at night. Now I'm worrying about what clothes to take bearing in mind a 15kg limit!
What a nightmareNow I'm worrying about what clothes to take bearing in mind a 15kg limit!

We have just bought some extra light suitcases so 15kgs will be enough.
I always carry my heaviest things such as shoes and books in my hand luggage and stuff and stuff my pockets to the max.

Just be aware that many airlines only allow one piece of hand luggage with a maximum weight of 5kg so everything, including your handbag, has to fit in that. Also, if you are flying with Thomas Cook, they have the smallest dimensions for hand luggage that I have ever come across.
oh help! We are giving PEK a miss this May and heading to Cape Verde so no Tunisian fix at least for another 6 months

Usually 15kg wouldn't be so bad for one week but with summer AND winter clothes and accompanying footwear, it could be tight. I've heard the latest adverts for BA with their 23kg and been thinking "if only".
Thanks for mentioning about the Thomas Cook hand luggage dimensions. The rucksack thing on wheels I usually take is always a bit iffy (huge sighs of relief at check-in) so I think I might have a look for something a bit smaller at the weekend.
Oh....so much to worry about!! I need a holiday!!
I'd love to go to Cape Verde, it's next on my list after I've finished with Tunisia!! Have you been before?

BA is only really viable if it flies from a convenient airport of course, and though I actually prefer flying from Stansted, Gatwick isn't too much of a problem and works out about the same price when the extra cost of getting to Gatwick is included.
Nope - First time to Cape Verde so it had better be good!
Take a look at these forums for info on Cape Verde, click on nickmacuk's link for pictures and there are also other various links with pictures and info in other posts
We are going to Cape Verde for the first time in May and then making our first visit to Tunisia in September! Can't wait for both! They each sound so different.
Thanks Graham - looks good doesnt it?
