Glad we didn't do too badly Graham.
My daughter, her husband and youngest son left for Skanes last night and will be staying at the El Mouradi. They didn't actually tell me until a few hours before they were due to leave and I then had an urgent request from young Jim, aged 11, for some Arabic. Luckilly I had some saved on the computer so e-mailed it off to them. I could obviously have been more help if I had known earlier but they wanted to 'do it their own way'. At least they have got a nice hotel, according to recent reviews on Trip Advisor and are onlly going for a week so it will be interesting to see if they get the bug, like many of us do.
Oh I think they have missed an opportunity there, you could have been their personal guide come babysitter and you could have had another week in Tunisia
My sentiments entirely Graham.
There is now a new Magasin General in Sousse, not on the site of the original one which was burnt down earlier this year but not far from there and it looks absolutely fantastic according to pictures I've seen. There is still no sign of the one in PEK re-opening and some people wonder if it ever will.
Were they a big diffrence to April.
Not long now before you're off to PEK so I hope you and Anne have a fabulous time. We'll speak before you go. I'm off to Denmark on Wednesday for a few days for a friend's birthday. returning on Saturday.
Staying overnight with my brother then up up and away early tomorrow.
Graham, sorry i didn't get to Balloch this week. Just been so busy.

Thanks Jimmy much appreciate that and we will meet up when you come back
Have a great time, I am sure you will anyway.
Graham
Hi Jimmy, By now you are no doubt at your brother's so I won't try and phone you. Have a lovely time and give my love to everyone. It looks as if the lunch club may have moved base to Hammam Sousse now. You will no doubt meet Karen as well this time and probably her husband Tarek. Tell Heather and Ra'ad I'm sorry to miss them but they will be back in the UK when I get out in November. Give Anne my love and enjoy, enjoy.
I won't be around much (if at all) for the next 16 days or so as we are heading off to Kenya shortly so I will leave you all in the hands of our very own Holiday-Truth Tunisian expert, Aslemma, if there is anything you want to know just ask
Ma'a salama
