wiggleworth,

Your outbound is with Titan (737, should be G-ZAPZ but can change between now and then) and inbound is BA as normal (737). I believe it's for extra capacity during the busy summer season.

Hi,

Flying BA2159 on 30/08 LGW-UVF with the return on BA2158 on 10/09, seated in CW with a 4 class outbound and 3 class inbound. I've heard there is a new Thales tv/video system on some 777's, does anyone know if we are likely to get these aircraft or if it's the usual AVOD as is on 747's?

Also, on the outbound, we have seats 10A&B, return leg seats 2A&B. Are these good seats? We OLCI tomorrow and have looked at various sites, SeatGuru etc and they appear to be ok, we're a couple so don't want the middle seats of 4.

Much appreciated, thank you.

lady64,

Seating is personal preference. All seats in their respective cabins are as good as any other really (with an odd exeption) and have the same facilities. It's really just if you prefer a seat towards the front of back of the section, and window or isle. Aircraft are swapped pretty much daily so it's difficult to say the exact one it'll be on the day this far from your flight.

Thanks Darren, appreciate your reply, we fly out to UVF this Thursday, so not sure what you mean by the bit I've bolded!

lady64,

The exact registration, they have a large fleet of aircraft that swap and change regularly, it's not the same aircraft assigned to the flight everytime. I took your inbound date as your outbound, my apologies. It's been a long day!

This a follow-up to a previous question regarding flying back from India. We intend to fly back from Goa via Mumbai & Heathrow with Jet Air and BA, flights: Jet 480, BA 198 & BA1338 Am I right in thinking Jet & BA have a codeshare agreement so that:-
a) I have one ticket through so my connections are protected?
b) I can book my laggage through from Goa to Newcastle?

Cheers,

Jim

To be honest Jim I am not aware of any code share agreement between BA and jet Airways.

Certainly at the London end Jet fly from Terminal 4 while mostly as you will be aware BA fly from T5.

On that basis I would have thought that you will beed to check in and that is with baggage as well for the BA198 but through baggage and boarding cards issued for final destination at that time (for the BA 1338)

Hi all,
My two daughters are flying from Heathrow to Houston at 10am on Tuesday morning which means they can check in online tomorrow morning which they want to do because they would like to sit together on the plane but the only thing is we don't have a printer to print their boarding passes, will this matter? we could head to the library and print it if it really needs to be printed but it would save a lot of hassle otherwise.
Thankyou,
CourtneeLouise

P.S does anybody know which plane they would be flying on? BA0195 LHR-IAH 10:25am 2nd October :)

Hi , I'm sure you can still do your online check in and when it comes to the boarding pass part you can select " pick them up at the airport " They do have a online check in demo on their website , try this and see what happens !!!! But by doing the online check in you are really selecting your seats , I'm sure they will give the boarding passes at the airport when you check in your cases and just hand over the itinerary reference .

ukusa,

LHR-PVG (BA0169 I think you meant) is a Boeing 777-200.

Hi Darren

Hope you can help we are flying to Goa with BA
What we are concerned about is that we change to Jet airways for the flight down to Goa and from what info we have BA luggage allowance is 23k whilst Jet Air is only 20k are we better sticking to 20k or will our luggage go through Mumbia without being weighed? Any help on this would be very much appreciated

Thanks Tush

tush,

The two airlines aren't codeshare partners (hence the differences), although they do allow through check-in on their networks. You'll probably be ok with 23kg outbound, but as you'll be checking in with Jet Airways inbound, they may question 23kg. It might be worth speaking to BA to double check and for peace of mind.

Are both flights on one ticket or booked separately?

If they are both on one ticket and booked with BA, you normally get the higher allowance if there is more than one.
