Hi all,

I am going on holiday with my parents and best friend to Ibiza in Summer. Both me and my friend will be 17 at the time, so will not have valid photo ID. I have been told that we will be able to drink, especially being girls and will get into some clubs but not others. Would you suggest getting fake IDs or not? Which clubs are most likely to let us in without needing ID?

The legal drinking age in Ibiza is 18 – You are asking for us to condone an illegal act which we cannot do. There are also other things to take into consideration.

1 – You say you are going with you parents have you shared this little gem with them?
2 – Whilst you may ignore the legal aspect should yourequire medical aid/hospital treatment then your insurance WILL NOT pay out.
3 – You can/could be prosecuted – and so can your parents. The authorities are getting fed up of underage drinkers so are quite likely to take action
4 – You are putting yourself in danger, there are plenty of people out there looking for young girls to exploit in various ways.

Not trying to be old boring spoilsports just being sensible having seen the results and knowing of many true stories outlined in 2 – 3 & 4
