Hi everyone

I have just tried to confirm my easyjet flights but hit a problem when asked to confirm the agents address
I quoted the wrong address, the one at the bottom of the booking confirmation,so he was unable to divulge any information to me!!!

Wonder what address I needed to quote??

Andy.

Hi Andy,

I looked at my flight on viewtrip as I remembered noticing the booking agent wasn't Rise. Its the following...

MAJOR TRAVEL LIMITED
28/34 Fortress Road,Kentish Town
London NW5 2HB
UNITED KINGDOM
No agency phone number available

Agency IATA Number: 91293543

Guess they have a seperate flight department????

Hope this helps

Hi Alii,

It is getting more confusing by the minute!!!

The guy at easyjet did say that the first part of the postcode was correct
so it can't be the same address as you say.

Ah yes prob as Magsy says. Think I remember seeing 2 simaler addresses, one for Rise and one for MKM.

Has anyone else got Major Travel Limited as their agent on viewtrip? :hmmm

Not bothered really, don't mind who booked my flight!!

Hi Andy
My guess is that its 'Hidden Retreats'. Has the same address and Atol numbers (part of MKM/Rise etc).
It was also an independent travel/tour operator till MKM brought it. They do most of the bookings.

Juro ... I am Mrs (Really) - one daughter and three grandaughters to go with it. Eldest is 15 to-morrow.

Phil ... I looked up the cabin. Just hope it is not belowthe water line. It is the cheapest one but I think it is adouble. Hope there is no-one else in it.

When you go to Kusadasi, go on a trip to Ephesus. It is well worth it. You are pursued when you get on shore. I just told them firmly I had no money and it worked.

Glad to hear it Maureen!! :offtop My "baby" is 20 tomorrow and not even coming home until Sunday as she and her fellow students have to, apparently, drink the Uni bar dry at the end of term. I think maybe that Easyjet have "gotten" wind of the situation and are hedging. I am going to test the "process" to the limit tomorrow or Monday as a friend wants to accompany me on my cruise. She didn't collect the tokens so it will be interesting to see whether (a) she is allowed to share my twin cabin and (b) at what cost.
Have foolishly agreed to collect beautiful but very exhausting grand-daughter (13 months old) at 9.00am on Sat so am going to bed now. Nite nite all

I'm not sure whether I've just been foolhardy or sensible!

I've just prebooked airport car parking - (very reasonable - £46)

Foolhardy? (When is a confirmation really a confirmation? etc. etc....could be cancelled, altered, who knows?).

Or, sensible? In that I've saved £62 on the gate price, it's very close to terminal 2, and it's one less thing to be thinking about.

Oh, well - it's done now and I have positive vibes !!
Alli :)
Edited to show proper price of £46 not £42 (can I be excused for typo - look at the time of my post!)

Good Morning Allisu and all!
That seems to be an excellent price and makes the proposition of taking a car to the airport a good one, and very convenient.
Like you, I have decided that being positive is the way to go so onwards and upwards, or should that be outwards!

Morning All

I have to agree with Maureen H, for me the trip to Ephesus was one of the highlights of that cruise.

As for the sellers, I just said ''no thank you'' very firmly every time, and I soon realized they knew I meant it. During the evening of the Kusadasi visit the entertainment was hosted by the usual chap, who began with ''hands up everybody who bought a carpet''. Only a few hands went up, and sheepishly at that, but the sympathetic laughter throughout the theatre showed him we all knew exactly what he meant. I decided never to go back there, but time has mellowed my memories and I now think differently.

Hi Everyone

I havn't posted on here for ages, so have been trying to catch up. I gave up on page 3,345,897,781.

Well done to those that have got thier cruises confirmed and to those that have been on them, or is it just William benn so far?

Now for my good news...Got my cabby cruise tickest today :pele I'm not going on the 23rd April from Houston anymore, but from Miami on 9th April. They didn't just change it witout asking me, they asked first.

My wife has also had her cruise confirmed for 3rd july on Armonia from Venice. :pele

The people that dealt with us where extremley friendly and helpful.

It looks like that Rise are trying to work through the backlog of applicants and getting some cruises booked.

Better go and take the dog for a walk now as he is sitting cross legged by the door !!

I am afraid I did buy a carpet - albeit a small one to hang on the wall. My husband always wanted a tapestryon the wall. He would never go cruising though - said he did his share on the "grey funnel line".

Are you parking at Heathrow? If so could you give me details please? I have booked parking at both Gatwick and Luton through the net and there has been no problem as I just produced the printout of the E-mail confirmation.

hi all
yes its good to hear of people getting cruises again. I too am on the armonia 03/07 so as alison says there are five of us now .What is your wifes name, colin, can you ask her to be added to the who s going where and roll call threads.

Im afraid after going to turkey on holiday that i decided not to go there again.I took my daughter who was 15 at the time and had to guard her the whole time we were in public. i was stressed out with that and being pestered to go in every shop. saying that i still managed to have a good holiday and possibly would try it in a group .
ann
ps i also bought a wall hanging
