Hi Imelda
Have you read the resort reports HERE?
Pippy
Am heading off on 1 October to the Riu Vistamar, desperate for some last sunshine before the UK winter!
San Miguels is good but try Las Vegas (upstairs) it's even better and has some huge steaks!
Stay away from the ladies in the park...........there a nightmare
Whilst there ( and this is the reason for joining the forum and posting this message ) I took a walk along the concrete breakwater that seperates the right hand harbour from the sea and I found a Sony Memory Stick memory card from somebodies camera which contains many typical holiday shots. All these pictures looked to have been taken locally to PR and the surrounding areas. These pictures make up a considerable amount of the owners holiday and I was kind of hoping that somebody on here just may know somebody who also visited Puerto Rico at the same time and has lost their pictures.
The people depicted in the photos look decidedly British ( if it's possible to look British!! ).
I know this is a very big long shot but I am fully prepared to reunite the owner with their photo's and Memory Stick if they can indicate what may be on the pictures or just generally prove that the memory stick contains their snap shots.
Anybody
Welcome to the forums, and hope that you stay with us.
i would say a big 'thank you' for taking the time out to try and reunite the photos with the owner.
As a lot of people would not bother.
I worked in Puert Rico back in 1998 and weather is superb in October. If you like chinese food the buffets are very cheap and delicious.
Looking at the number of views this thread has had in the last 5 days it's not looking too good that the owner will be found.
Could somebody PM me the address's of any other likely sites where it may be possible to do a similar post??
Cheers in advance.
I would contact gmtv as you could e-mail then a photo. they could put it on the telly and somebody may know them.
You know something.....................that is mad enough to actually work!!
If i lost my memory card on holiday i'd be upset. But imagine having brekkie one morning and seeing a photo of you on telly.
We're going mid October and although we spent a day there last year, we didn't eat out and don't know much about the place. We stayed in Playa del Ingles last year and didn't find the cheap places till the last night. I want to be prepared this year - is it usually the British places that are cheaper? There will be a total of 12 people in all. Also, what are the Monaco apartments like? Have read some reviews that seem awful. Also read a post with regards to the women in the park. We are starting to dread it but at least we are getting prepared for it.
Have not heard of the apartments you are staying at, if they are up the hillside, don't attempt to walk back up as it is a killer and taxis are cheapish and plentiful.
As everywhere there are always people wanting to take advantage of the vunerable, don't look vunerable and go and chill with the kids and enjoy the weather, as its usually great.
Cheers Bellana
they are more a bungalow style, and are on levels.
the shop is at the top, so is the reception, then you go down in layers.
if you are at the bottom, its good for going back and forward to the center,or beach(10min away),or going a walk, but if you want the shop, at the top, about 150 steps up.
we found the apartments OK,just the basic thing.
the pool is small, but clean,OK to hang about. with pool bar.
PLEASE WATCH THE STEPS, ALL OVER THE MONACO, MOST LARGE, BUT A FEW SMALL ONES (IT WAS THE SMALL ONE THAT MY WIFE TORE HER ANKLE LIGAMENTS ON).
you will have a good time there...enjoy
UPDATE:

Thief: Your link comes right back here again!!!!
oops sorry LOL
My lad found a memory card on the beach in Famagusta, Cyprus. I thought exactly the same - I will post on HT and see if anyone claims it...
Although having seen the pictures that were on it I honestly don't think anyone would own up
