We really liked the bar with Jimmy Spender it was called Rockafellas 
We love the Love Boat, also it was really handy for getting back to our hotel at the end of the night 
Yes, the Love Boat is in a great location. We are staying at the Andreotis Apts, next year, so we will definately be close by when we visit the Love Boat. 
My inlaws, and sister inlaw and family have never been to Cyprus before, so it looks like they will be relying on us to show them the best places to visit, eat and drink.

The Love Boat is particularly friendly and popular, not over keen on Fools and Horses....more to do with the constant re-runs of the TV programme in the pub....same goes with the Friends bar, great place and very friendly but not over keen on the constant TV programme blaring away.
Sphinx was nice as well, but Loveboat gets our vote in Protaras.
In Pernera we really like the Nautilus...

We liked Flora's bar. It was really handy for our hotel and the drinks were cheap! It was packed every night.
We saw Jimmy Spender in the Niata bar in Pernera (just on the end of the road before the beach)
Cheers, opposite Friends - Cheers special cocktail is one to try! And the cocktail bar in Eden Square. I think I am probably the only person who doesn't like the Love Boat... 
It's not a popular choice as i've seen before but I enjoy Bells bar, lovely company and lovely bar staff if you get to know them and Jimmy the owner is lovely. Even my 66 year old father enjoys it with his bad hip and bad back.
The Nautilus was mentioned by London exile. That is right across the road from where I stay and when we went in July it was great and the barman Zac was fantastic with us but then we went in October and all we got from Zac was a quick hello and then he blanked us for the rest of the 10 days. That I don't appreciate, he could at least try to be friendly when we are on holiday.

its okay but I think that they water down the drinks,so if we do go in there we tend to drink bottles of beer.
One night we sat there drinking bacardi and coke all night and didn't even feel like we had even had a drink.
One of our favourites is Fools and Horses,just because we just love the programme,we also used to love Friends before it was called Friends,when it just played fantastic music.

Hi Cardiff Lad.Zac is a good friend of ours but I will still say he's a little tempremental.He has lots to think about for next year-in his defence-but that doesn't excuse poor manners.Im sorry he let himself down, as from before, you know as we do he's a great guy.

We really enjoyed Bells bar! The cocktails were fabulous and the staff very friendly.. also it was downhill & within staggering distance of our hotel on our way back which always helps!!
I have to say we went from ayia napa to protaras for the evening and had a great time at all the bars we visited,very friendly and a great night of entertainment
My favouite was waves cocktail bar, which was near to the Mcdonalds.
hi everyone . we go to rising star apartments next june. In the evenings we usually go for a meal at a restaurant then walk to a selection of bars afterwards . Are rising star in the thick of things or is it gonna be a long stagger home? Also any ideas on good bars( teenage kids with us )

we were at these apartments in october, they are a minutes walk from the rising sun pub and about 5 mins from the main strip, they are great apartments.
