if u book a seat with a table on any coach id imagine you would have plenty room and it would be more comfortable we always got table seats on this holiday and i never ever found it uncomfortable hope this helps x
Personally I found the table seats less comfortable as they didn't recline the way upstairs seats do. Is this just me

Being over 6ft, i cant say that i really find any of them too comfy, i just put up with them!!! 
Avoid the front panoramic seats upstairs, they have less legroom, and it tends to be colder up the front of the bus.....i specifically booked seats further back in May with Redcrest, and was put in the front seats.....they obviously thought they had upgraded me and done me a favour, but it narked me off, and i ended up getting my £20 back that i paid for the seats i wanted!!!

as another over 6 foot tall i've found the ferris platinum coaches to be ok.we travelled downstairs last time and there were no table seats but they were ok. seats 1&2 seem to have a bit more leg room but i don't think that they reclined as far as the others.
ferris ordinary coaches are a nightmare and i would never go on one of these again, but for next year they are charging £15 for platinum and it is money well spent.
i believe though that siesta have the best seats/room, but haven't travelled with them yet.

Obviously i have my 'other issues' with Siesta, but one thing that used to annoy me with their seats, was that they had this lower leg support that came up when you reclined.....i found that really annoying to be honest, it didnt affect my comfort, and only made it harder to store hand luggage, etc......dont know if they still have seats like this though!
Thinking about giving ferris a go next year, when booking seats do you have to take what they give you or can you request where you sit? Its just a member of the party has arthritis and would struggle to climb upstairs, being a small person would imagine the platinum coach would give enough legroom to be comfy unlike flying.
In the past you weren't able to chose your own seats, you were told what number seat was allocated to you as you boarded the coach. Thinga might have altered now .
Travelled with Siesta 2004 and 2005, and paid extra for the lower deck front seats. Had loads of leg room and good recline, plus there are only twelve seats on the lower deck so it didn't feel like being on a coach with loads of other people for 24 hours, not sure that I could of coped upstairs.

Hoverland stop every 2-3 hours for a break ferris do not have as many stops as hoverland but still got to the hotel at about 9.30am the same as hoverland. when we went with hoverland we got on the coach at 6.00 andferris at 8.45. couriers on both companies were brilliant hope this helps.

i went with siesta at christmas, and have been with other
coach firms in the past.
if price is not an issue there is no competition - siesta wins, but they are not always dearest anyway.

The seats on the siesta coaches now have an option wither you want to extend the leg rest or not.
When looking at coaches one of the things we always looked at was the pitch size and the amount of seats on the coach.

Platinium with ferris coaches for me. also aircraft style tables on back of seats. we were upstairs going, downstairs coming home, we prefer upstairs, better view as well.

siesta are currently doing £395 for 2 people 10 days/7 nights for mid may from falkirk according to their special offer panel on their website.
does that seem a reasonable price?

Nah, im looking for a 17 day break if i can get one - 3 days travel for just 7 days just doesn't seem enough considering how far north we are! What i've noticed is that i've put my hols in for a week later than usual (19th may) and there don't seem to be very many special deals for that time for 14 days holiday .... maybe it's something to do with this Whitsun holiday i've never heard of (must be an English thing!!) Wonder if i can get the wife to move her hols a week further forward to the 12th, i'd no doubt get a better deal then!
As for the coach thing .... you have to bear in mind the time spent on board as well. Regardless of seat size and room, when i went with Club C and Siesta, i was boarding at 2am, compared to 7:30am when i went with Redcrest (as they didn't have the hub system)
