Hi Everyone,
On Holiday in Tenerife last November I was lied to by a shop about the manufacturers reccomended retail price on a Digital camera, when I saw the same item for sale for 1/5th of the price I returned and asked them why they had lied to me and could I have the complaints book.
I was told "no I could not have the book and that was the price I paid was the price they charged". I told them they had lied to me about the retail worth they had no answer and refused to give me any money back.
On returning home I contacted the local consumers office in Tenerife and was directed to the Direccion de Consumo who have written back to me in Spanish could anyone please help me to translate this letter please?
Mike
You can use the net to translate for you. There are lots of sites. You just type in the letter and it will convert. Its not perfect by any means, but you may get a good idea what the letter says.
Obviously in Mike's case, this would not be a huge problem, but for others who use this system for their own letter writing, perhaps this needs to be double checked.
For those who do speak another language, try to translate a paragraph which you understand and see if the translation comes back Double Dutch.
Or is it just me?
Mike, if you still need a translation, send me a PM.
