Gregor I would take it!!!! We were flying from Glasgow at 8.30pm on the 3st May and when news broke that things were starting to go belly up I decided to change the holiday to 1 week only and go our second week on the 7th June. I have noticed on our invoice says 10.30pm now but they never mentioned anything to me about it and as I just signed the paperwork at the the time - don't think I will have a leg to stand on!

Very strange that they are giving you the choice to change with a two hour flight change though isn't it? Is it not usually 12hrs or more???

I think to be honest they are using this as an excuse to give people the option as they don't want to admit that the building isn't complete and have the same problems with this as they did with PP last year!!!!

Hello all,

I told you yesterday that somebody on the NL forum stated that the opening has been postponed to June 1st. Now it seems that the CS mixed up Kefalonia and Kos. So the opening of KOS will still be on May 21st.

Hi all. For the last couple of days I have been emailing different 'Kos' tourist information sites hoping that one of them would come back with some news on the hotel. Well I have received a reply back from one of them and here is his reply:-

Dear Ajenkins,

A friend who lives in Kos is to check it out for me. As you probably
know First Choice ARE taking bookings from May the 24th. However they do say that there will be NO Horse Riding, and NO Water Sports, ( Banana
Boat etc ). If my friend comes back to me I shall email his comments to
you.

I also have a friend going to Kos on May 25. He is happy to go along and
take a look. His information so far is that the accommodation is mostly
finished but there have been problems with the organised sports which
have been franchised out to other companies. According to him even First Choice aren't sure where these are up to as they are franchises - firms have paid up for the franchise and it's up to them to get organised. SwimKids for example are handling the pool stuff and they say they are not aware of when guests will be accommodated (no reason they should be of course). All they say is that their swimming lessons will be operational for guests to take part in from June 1 06, when they have been told the new complex will be completed and fully operational. Two weeks after the first guests are due to arrive you'll notice so First Choice are presumably playing it day by day.

Anyway, I'll let you know more as I learn it. Appreciate anything from
your end in case I get more requests.

I have been following this forum for the last few days now, and like the rest of you, am getting scared! We are due to fly out on 21 June for 14 days and have to pay the balance today. We have 2 young children and am worried about their safety if it is still a building site. I tried to call FC yesterday but nobody answered the phone all day.

Dilema - do I pay or not??

right just had first choice ring me back, (after chasing them for some time I might add) in the first conversation I made myself quite clear that I wanted telling the truth about wot is happening at kabc before I go as lying would only promote the chances of kidnap and being held to ransom for my money back, on my return!!!! in others words, without being to rude I was blunt and to the point! lol
So here we go the reply was as follows:- Dear Mr piggy packer (ha ha) I can assure you that the only thing that has changed since you booked your holiday is the fact that there will be no horse riding and hopefully you should have received written conformation of this (correct), as not to promote my chances of kidnap I PROMISE I will contact you by phone the first I hear of any changes.
So I am taking the kids to Cleethorpes and sticking them on a donkey before we leave the hopefully newly promoted Grimsby Town on the 7th June and am going to have the holiday I paid for anybody want to join in when im sat down watching England qualify for the world cup final stages, then I`ll gladly buy them a pint, (as long as it`s before midnight!!!).

me too and last night, i thought it was because my kids had too many things open, and they are getting fed up with me keep on kicking them off msm when they are chatting to thier friends,
may be first chioce will some how close this site down, that will be a shame i will be board all day

Not having trouble on the board but still having trouble getting in touch with first choice.

My balance is due a week today and after 7 emails and holding on the phone for hours I still haven't made contact or got any answers from first choice.

Option 3, then Option 4.
