We stayed in Playa de Muro last May and are going back on Saturday for 2 weeks staying at the Alcudia Suite. There is a reasonable sized Eroski supermarket on the main road towards Alcudia Port which has more choice and is MUCH cheaper than the little Spar shops etc in the resort itself. It is within walking distance of Playa de Muro and would probably take about 20 - 25 mins to walk it, longer on the way back with lots of heavy shopping!! There is a bus stop practically outside though. We tried a few of the restaurants and particularly liked Las Delicias (look for the Pink Panther sign), Oasis, Boy. There is also a Chinese and an Indian which we didn't manage to try last year. Anyway have a great time, you'll love it.

Thanks for the tip about the supermarket. We will have a car for a week so that will be great to do a shop with.
