Hi
We are going to the Bahia Principe in September . Could anyone tell me if they have tea/coffee facilities in the room or will I have to take my own?
Also I read somewhere that all the rooms have a sea-view. Is this correct?
Many Thanks
Debs
I am going on Tuesday for a week and will be able to tell you more after that. I don't think there are any tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms.
I'm off to the Bahia Principe Costa Adeje on 9th June and wondered whether anyone knows if the world cup will be shown in the hotel?
If not is there anywhere nearby that will have it on?
Thanks
We go on the 9th of June and my husband was wondering the same it says in the book that there is a TV room but thats all I know
Yeah i read there is a TV in the room but only with english news channels. I'm happy to watch the game with foreign commentary as long as we can see the match.
I expect they'll show the foodball in the pub at the back of the entertainments square. This isn't AI, but fairly cheap.
If I'd never been to Egypt, this would be the best holiday I've ever been on. As it is, we're thinking of going back to this hotel next May...
Kosh42 did you manage to get a swim in the sea.
I did swim in the sea, though, but only as part of the Royal Delphin whale and dolphin spotting trip. It was a brilliant day out I'd reccomend to anyone...
we are just back from the \Bahia Principe. We had a wonderful time. The food was very good the first few days but became excellent after that. We could not find any fault. If I had to say any fault .......well too much to eat and big choice. I am over a half stone heavier. Anyone want to ask questions feel free to do so.
If the members wish I could open another topic to seperate the two hotels or leave as is.
If the latter could members please put the correct hotel name as the subject of their post.
If members would prefer the former then I would start a new topic with the Bahia Principe as the subject.
As I'm not sure which posts are referring to which hotel in the current topic I will leave them as they are.
There's no difference in quality - both 4* superior. You will pay a little more for the Tenerife as their rooms sleep 4 and are suites, rather than the Costa Adeje rooms that sleep 3.
can anyone answer this. do you get an iron and board in the rooms. plus how does anyone get things washed whilst at the hotel. is there a laundry on site or do they take your washing away and bring it back all done, if so what are the costs. any info would be great. going on 18 july 06
there was no iron or board in the bedroom. I think you can get laundry done as in the wardrobe there was a plastic laundry bag and a laundry list of items. I did not check the prices.
We have read the reports in the hotel reviews but still can't make up are mind which one to stay in ........please give us your opions......also is it worth paying for a junior suite ?? any other tips would be great !!!
we stayed in the adeje side and it was beautiful. I like the lay out as it is quite big. Ask any question and I will try and answer.
hi debbymark,we have booked in the tenerife part of the hotel for july 2007,i was well looking forward to it but some dodgy reviews have come in since i booked.we have only done one ai before and that was a near disaster, this is my last chance to prove to the other half that all inc can be good,i said that i would only do it again 4 or 5 star hence the booking.can you give me any hints and tips to make the most of our holiday, thanks mo
The bedrooms were kept clean and our bed linen was even changed the day before we went home.On the day of departure we were not leaving until nine pm and we were able to go to the spa to get showered before going to dinner. Anything you want to ask go ahead and do so.
We stayed in the Costa Adeje last year and have rebooked for this August. The brochure (First Choice I think) has it wrong in my opinion when it labels the Costa Adeje as 'adult focused' and the Tenerife as 'family focused'. If anything I would say the other way around. Both hotels are suitable for couples and families, but not for singles, unless they are looking for a quiet get away from it all holiday.
I must says if that is what the bochure about the Adeje and Tenerife sides says then it is wrong. The Adeje side has lots to do for a families. I loved this side when I stayed in June. I don't have kids but observed all the activity for them
oh dear that does not sound right. I have the say in the wrong place.
