Hey missmax :!: six pack eh :!: Huh, I've got a keg, beat that :!: :rofl

Hey hbrac - good luck with your weigh in. I've been getting my exercise by surfing.... the net that is

:yipee :yipee alsbabys back :!: Hey, we summer diet from Jan-till holibags after that we are entitled to our blow out.

I've actually had a traumatic last few days (seriously) my sister who was going on holibags with me has fell out with me and changed her hotel and ???resort. Have felt so gut wrenched have not felt like nibbling. At least something positive has come out of our family feud

Nothing like a good family feud to help with the weight control Jules  Has she really gone and done it or is she just blagging ?

:offtop Well according to her texts, because she hasn't had decency to 'phone, yes she has. She apparently had some indifferences with my 15 yr. old son on their Easter visit, some 6/7 weeks ago un-beknown to me, and has been festering ever since after  She's 35 :!: She's one "twisted sister" and I can do without the hassle. Whether or not she's going to a different resort only time will tell, hope I don't bump into her in Playa del Ingles :!:
Hope I'm too miserable to eat for the next 5 weeks but some how I doubt it :shrug

Cheer up Joolz :D

I know it's horrible when you fall out with a family member but it is obviously her problem. As a 35 year old she should be a bit more mature than arguing over a 15 year old or at least have come to you when the incident occured instead of stewing over it. I have a fifteen year old (16 in a couple of weeks) and I know for sure if I took everything she done/said seriously I would probably be serving time for murder by now.

What's the saying? You can choose your friends but not your family.

We haven't spoken/seen my out-laws for over ten years now and its great. :rofl

So cheer up and start thinking about that holiday, and as you feel so down you are allowed to dream about sweets.

Regards Jackie

Aah, thanks for that Jax, just when I was feeling :bawl you made me :) .

Might get my case out today and have a look through all our stuff. Lately I have been buying stuff "willy nilly" and always end up with stuff that doesn't match.

Where's the sun gone? Does it not know it's my day off today? Tsk

the sun is still here oooop north... 8) i really hope you feel better and try not to worry about the ruck with your sister. These things have a habit of sorting themselves out eventually.. robs family (especially his older sister) are always falling out about something.. enjoy your day off and start dreaming of your hols.....

Val am way up North, don't think the sun comes as far, it stops at the border I reckon.

With friends like you lot, oh and Will, Gaynor and Luke too, don't need sissy :!:

No looking forward to my weigh in tomorrow - went to a Bon Jovi concert last night - had a pub meal before, lots of lager while there and then a chinese after  - going the gym after work tonight but I think I might have blown it for this week and its my last but one weigh in before my hols :(

This thread is now going way off topic and turning into a general chat thread.

Please return to summer diets, if the thread is now exhausted we can lock.

Okay, well I was good and went to the gym last night despite the hot weather. Will do the same again tonight. No excuse really as it's fully air conditioned so it shouldn't matter what it's doing outside.

Dietwise, well been okay and have kept off the wine until tomorrow night.

Hi girls

Hope the diets are going well.

In a last ditch attempt to lose as much as I can before my hols (4 weeks today), I'm trying the cereal diet... a bowl for brekkie, bowl for lunch, etc.

Has anyone tried this diet? (i have heard it can give you bad wind, opps- i must warn my work colleagues)
Reply
have never tried that diet.. but then again i don't like milk so i wouldn't eat breakfast cereal anyway....

from my point of view, i don't know where i am going wrong. :hmmm . i am eating fruit at lunchtimes instead of a full cooked meal, eating a small balanced meal at night, all healthy stuff etc.. i am exercising loads and i am not losing any weight...someone please point me in the right direction as it is doing my skull in... :bhead

I don't know but I joined the gym early April and was too lazy about getting into it properly, thinking I'd left myself oh so much time! Yeah, well left it a bit too late, a week and half to go and okay maybe my backside is slightly improved but the tummy isn't! :D
