The last i heard was Basil was looking to take over Aussies - But that was towards the end of May - Have not heard anything since so dont know whether it happened or not. But even if it did, all Basils staff have got jobs elsewhere

yeah we were in there then mark, sue, rachel, liam,sam, and leah, dont know if you remember us, we always go there such a good atmosphere,just hope the same crew are there
Basil has been in touch with us last week, he says that they wanted too much money off him for running the aussie bar, so he is not going to bother, but he hopes to get something sorted soon. 
Hi i am off to marmaris in 2 weeks and do not know where the serenity apartments are and do not know anything about it does anyone have a map showing it or has anyone been there is it close to everything?I have been to marmaris twice but have never heard of this place.Thanks

Well we are staying in the Kervansaray Hotel this year but we will prob see you in the Aussie Bar at night.....as we go there every night. We fly from manchester on the 3rd July for 2 weeks......im ready for the break !!!! So....if you see a big lad 6'4" with a no1 shaved head lol, with a 5'4" Blond lass and a tall slim lad and his girlfriend @ 16yr old with a 7yr old blond girl running round our feet, then youve found us

PS - friends of mine stayed in the Kevaransary last year and were a bit apprehensive about the reviews - But they had a fab time - really enjoyed it!!

we go to that bar every year that we go to turkey ive been 5 times to marmaris now and i think all the staff there are great!! really friendly

I have been told that both of these restaurants are not there now, is this true or have they moved. Its a shame if info right as especially in appolen we had brill nights with excelent entertainment and food
Hi LA do you know why as they were both really busy. Is there any other restaurants with entertainment on.
Basils was closed for not having the right license - pretty sure Apollon was the same reason. Plenty more places with entertainment on the beach - We had a couple of good nights at the Sun Gezgin on the beach in May - But mostly stayed up the back of the resort!!

Could anyone tell me the best place in Marmaris to go and watch the football. We arrive in Marmaris on saturdayand we have a pair of football fanatics with us,

Practically all of the bars have Sky Sports & large screens - They usually advertise what games will be showing and when on a blackboard outside

hi lilly just returned yesterday from marmaris we watched the football at the hotel we stayed at which was mehtap hotel oh the beach front not far from where you are.they have a huge projector screen about 7 or 8 feet long..very good atmosphere as well ...cheers nubber
