Just got back from lanzarote bay on thursday, would go back tomorrow. We had nothing taken, we often left mobile phones lying in room as well. Spoke to a lady in bar one night who was going mad saying someone was taking babies nappies but never heard any other complaints from anyone else, she said she'd been told by someone in restaurant on the day she arrived to hide any designer clothes and good toiletries, we always left our good perfumes and aftershaves out and everything was fine. Friends of ours who were there used to leave nintendo ds and PSP in room and they were fine as well.
Thanks Gill, you put our minds at ease. I also read your holiday review and hopefully we will have as good a time as you all did. Only six weeks now to go and counting!!!
We are staying in these apartments in August - i've only managed to find very limited information about them and some is good some is bad - that goes with all hoidays I suppose.
I was just hoping that if anyone is going to these apartments in the coming weeks they would post in the review section - i'm starting to get all excited about lanza now.
If you have any questions about the Lanzarote Apartments you can ask me and I'll let you know what I know. I stayed there in June this year for two weeks.
hi, ive booked to go to lanzarote bay next june. doesnt seem to be very active on here. oh well would be nice to see some more reviews
Hi all, were going to lanzarote bay in october, family of four,2 kids are aged 12 and 8 a little bit worried theres not going to be much for them to do,was advised there is a kids club at the hotel can anyone shed any light on this!!!!
our kids are older now (17 and 14) but they loved it when they were younger and we have been there many times...there is a kids club that generally the maximum age limit is 12... but they let our lad play at 13 and he loved it!!
Enjoy your holiday...
Any other pointers about the hotel, all info gladly accepted, feeling a wee bit better about it now
Cheers Ozzie
if you check on this site there will be plenty of reviews about Lanzarote bay... we loved it even tho the first day was a disaster as there was a tropical storm and the airport shut and our romm was flooded.. and raw sewrage flooded into the entrtainment bit downstairs..but they gutted the lot and it was ok after that.. the "pit" where the entertainment takes place can get very crowded and very stuffy. There is naother bar, but it is adults only..
booked to go lanzarote bay next summer heard the place was being refurbished does anyone know if theres any truth in this and if so when. thanks
With less than 2 weeks to go(flying on the 12th oct),Recieved a phone call from going places saying ,oh by the way we have just found out theres going to be construction work going on less than 50 metres from your hotel which will be both audible and visible, but its not too bad because its onlyfrom 08:00 to 13:00,and then 16:00 to 18:00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Im fuming yet after taking advice it appears theres nothing much we can do.Ive wrote a letter to their customer services but strangely enough theres been no reply.Any body else in the same boat?
I don't know if this will put your mind at rest, but when I first stayed at the Lanzarote Princess in Playa Blanca (2000) there was a new hotel being built immediately in front of (or behind depending how you look at it! It was between the LP and the beach anyway) our hotel.
Although there was construction work being carried out for most of the day I can honestly say it didn't bother me, perhaps the wind was carrying most of the noise away from us, I don't know but it didn't spoil my holiday.
Work was just about finished when I stayed there a second time about ten months later but was still being carried out. Again, it didn't bother me.

There is usually some sort of building work going on all over the island, it's not really something you can get away from. I can't actually think where they'll be building 50m from the Lanzarote Bay, unless it's something to do with hotel itself, but I doubt it will disturb or spoil your holiday. Have a great time!
Thanks for the info, ive no doubt we will enjoy the holiday because great believer in lifes what you make it,its the attitude of going places/airtours which gets to me,usually travel first choice but thought wed try someone else this year and whilst no ones perfect some appear to be better than others.Anyway 8 days and counting!!!!Will post a review when we get back
definitely no building work going on in or around lanzarote bay!! enjoy you hol x
