We flew back the week after it all started and the reps didnt give us hardly any info on handluggage so we just took bare minimum....tickets, passports, nappies wipes, mobiles and keys.
We had no problems atall they werent that bothered they did check my sis in law mobile phone but that was about it lots of people had the same amount of hand luggage as normal coming back into uk doesnt seem to be any restrictions.
Unless this has changed since we flew....17aug.

thanks sweetiepie. im in the same position with 3 children under 8.trying to think of ways to keep everyone happy. you can also get the tubes of travelwash at sainsburys.

Does anyone know what the standard room is like is it ok? Will i need to take extra hangers etc is and is there any t.v channels for children or even a dvd player.Also, is there any tea/coffee facilities [rovided i have read there aren't is this in every room or just certain one's thanks.

has anybody stayed at these hotels this year? i would be grateful for any views, tips, etc for friends travelling at the end of september, 2 couples with 1 11 year old son. Things such as nearest cashpoint, best local tour guide, good trips to do, any hints for things to look out for or avoid.

Sorry i meant to post this as a new topic but my son keeps talking to me and i got distracted. i came back in to delete it but can only edit.

I thought i was going mad there viv knowing you gave me plenty of advice about the pp until i got to the bottom of your post and am now assuming it wasnt pp you asking about....i am always being distracted by kids and the baby helpfully pressing the keys for me!

baby products in pegosos palace

Can anyone who has been to the pegosos palace tell me what kind of baby nappies/ products they sell in the shop and if you've used the baby creche, what was it like?, and if the staff were good with the kids.

Nappies were ok I ended up buying some for the last few days, but not as absorbant as pampers/huggies. Can't remember how much we paid for them sorry.

Our son went in the PP tweety creche and had a great time, staff were very good with the kids. They had plenty of Little Tikes play equipment and he did feet painting and colouring also.

You can also take a mobile phone from them in case they need to contact you which I thought was a great idea.

hi there, after oct this year you cannot book the tropical (now known as the iberostar tropical) through first choice, does anyone know if they are going to split the two hotels up so you have to stay in the one you are booked in? i have alot of friends asking me and i have no answers

Sorry we did'nt get back to you earlier but we were out shopping for some holiday clothes. Well I was (Nicola) and Leonard keeps moaning that me and the kids have enough and he's got nothing.

We are flying from Glasgow on the 25th September. I can't wait to go and I'm so glad the reports have been good this year. Some people are just moaners. A holidays what you make of it yourself. When are you off.

I think they are splitting them if you look in the first choice brochure for 2007 the p/t isn't mentioned its called holiday village turkey,so i gather that you can only stay in the p/p. I think that the tropical has been brought by a different company and the p/p has stayed first choice,i guess meaning you can only use that hotels facilities.Don't take my word for it but i'm sure i am right. Hope i could help.
