We are with Vodaphone and have been for years. We have no end of trouble using our phone around the world. It locks us out and we have a code to unlock but it makes no difference. After much moaning Vodaphone said our phone was not a triband so we changed, Guess what no change!!

ust spent 3 weeks in US, ok in New York but in Nevada and Arizona only T mobile signal. Vodaphone just said sorry no coverage.

We travel 3 or 4 times a year and having our own business we need reliability. Paid £25 for approx 3 mins in Vegas last month on hotel phone, my mum is just going to have to talk faster at these rates

Looking back we should have asked other Brits which network they had but you feel a bit daft

Appreciate comments on networks used in America Canada & Austrialia and far East. Also Greece and Kenya as we have travel plans to these areas

I can then go out armed with some info and not sold another dodgy network
