Hi Liverpool the Cerro Algoa is a nice hotel, but Albufeira will be quiet, lots of bars & restaurants close down end of October in the Old & new town (The Strip) although there is still plenty choice to go at, it depends what you want from your holiday, but dont expect it to be full of life and bustling.Cheers Jayjan
what about shoppoing centres?
I may be wrong, but the only "shopping centres" Ive come across in Portugal are in Lisbon! That is if you mean the ones similar to the UK.
There's Algarve Shopping at Guia, a few miles west of Albufeira. Lots of shops, a multiplex cinema and tenpin bowling.
Faro has lots of shopping if you have a car.
also big shopping complex in Portimao now, & a new Carrafours as just opened also. Cheers Jayjan
The weather appears to be picking up for you;today's webcams show clear blue skies and a temp of 21C (or 70F in old money )
Indeed - sun beaming down this afternoon. Took the bicycle out for ride and a couple of beers. People in the sea swimming and surfing and fishing. Most pleasant. the weather does look set fair for a few days which is a mighty relief after the past few weeks.
Make it three weeks and we'll be happy!
or all this week.got a forecast.
Local weather forecast with rain radar display at http://www.meteo.pt
Still warm 19 - 20C but lots of showers about by the look of it. Clearing up a bit by Saturday it seems.
